Could the Rockets beat the Spurs in 7 Game series?

This team lost to the G league nuggets.

 

We can literally beat everyone. So many unknowns about this team.

1. will Fred play? 2. Will Fred be traded?
3. What do we look like with DFS?
4. Do we get another guard?
5. Does Reed keep improving?
6. Will amend figure out his shot?

 

These Rockets are pretty inconsistent with their shooting and decision making and defensive intensity. It's tough to pick them in a 7 game series right now, but the chance to win any given game is there.

 

Sengun is literally on his way to being a great. He is putting up a near triple double at 23 as a center. That is very rare. No our problem is the cast around Sengun. Amen cant shoot. Reed is not ready. Tari is always injured. Jabri is too selfish. KD is too old. There is a glaring issue with everyone we depend on for support.

Sengun being our best player should concern us. Hes not on the level of SGA, Luka, and Wemby

 

Alperen Sengun continues to fool this fanbase. You guys think his 20 points on 20 shots is actually impressive.

It feels worst because we're really missing FVV. A good point guard is essential to a team's success.
T-Wolves are struggling because they need a point guard.

Lakers have Luka
The Pistons have Cade Cunningham and they are the best team in the East
The Knicks have Jalen Brunson
FVV is vital to our team's success...I might get backlash for this, but I would trade Capela/second round draft picks for Westbrook/Drew Eubanks

 

Joker did the same thing last night lol He won the difference is the cast around him. He has a guy that hits tough shots. Joker couldnt get out the second round without Murray. Sengun at his shooting percentage at 23 is on par for all time great. Not a lot of centers do what he does. We were a top 3 team in the west without KD last year and we are top 3 without Jalen this year and its because of Sengun. He needs help though. Its also not just about scoring.

 

Youre right. Edit: Not sure if WB is the answer though. Maybe Harden but he is old and inconsistent too.

 

The Spurs are a bad matchup for us. Wemby would make Sengun a perimeter player in a 7 game series. Our perimeter shooting is not good enough yet to counter against Wemby's interior defense.

 

1) I think Fred plays if we make it to the 2nd round of playoffs
2) DFS will replace Tari - we have too many wings and not enough playing time for all of them. Basketball is a game if rhythm, and I don't see Ime playing a 9-10 man rotation
3) We need another guard
4) Reed is not ready yet to be a big contributor if we have championship aspirations this year
5) Amen will continue to have a broke jumper this season

 

Right now - Spurs...
but hopefully by the end of the year we will be able to beat anybody!
I think this team still has room to grow and mesh...

I wonder if we could trade Sengun and KD for Jalen and Dillon?

 

Dont forget the Spurs have Fox who is lightning quick.

Nope. The Spurs seem to play with much greater intensity than we do. They are fast and athletic. They outworked us our one game that we played. They play team ball.

For us to win we need to have a healthy Tari and DFS. Or FVV to come back
