    https://www.sf.gov/news-mayor-lurie...nities-for-all-black-2-san-francisco-programs

this is the edict from the newly elelected mayor of San Francisco

“San Francisco needs young people—your energy, your creativity, your heart—to help us build a city that works
for everyone and that’s ready for the challenges that lie ahead,” said Mayor Lurie. “Opportunities are giving young people
the chance to build the skills, connections, and experiences that will shape them into the next generation of San Francisco’s leaders.”

not surprisingly, Gen Zs are Moving To San Francisco More Than Any Other Group

Why San Francisco has become such a hotel sales hot spot

Blackstone, the world's largest alternative asset management firm, has acquired the Four Seasons on Market Street. The transaction, which closed last week, follows the sales of Parc 55 and Hilton Union Square in November and the former Hotel Union Square in September.

It’s the latest sign that investors are banking on downtown’s recovery — and on tourism and conventions specifically.

“People are seeing the city of San Francisco turning around,” said Alan Reay, president of real estate firm Atlas Hospitality. “It’s a huge endorsement of what they see long term for the city and for the luxury sector.”

The increase in hotel sales accompanies a jump in convention space reservations and a decline in office space vacancy,
both driven in part by the artificial intelligence boom.

@tinman continues to be obsessed with California, even though he doesn't live there. Everyone that looks at what he's doing, knows how pathetic it is.

A recent study by WalletHub revealed the happiest cities in the U.S., and not surprisingly,

From this ranking, the 10 happiest cities in the U.S. are as follows:

    1. Fremont, CA
    2. San Jose, CA
    3. Irvine, CA
    4. Sioux Falls, SD
    5. Overland Park, KS
    6. Lincoln, NE
    7. Madison, WI
    8. Scottsdale, AZ
    9. San Francisco, CA
    10. Huntington Beach, CA

Fremont, CA, is the happiest city in America, and one contributing factor is that the city has the highest share of households with an income above $75,000, at nearly 80%. Studies have shown that increasing your income up to $75,000 also increases your happiness, but making more than that does not. Therefore, cities where a lot of people make at least $75,000 per year are more likely to have maximized their happiness.

People in Fremont also have the highest rate of life satisfaction, the fifth-lowest depression rate, and the fourth-highest average life expectancy in the country. Another contributing factor to Fremont’s happiness is the fact that it has the lowest separation and divorce rate in the country, at only 8.9%. It also has the lowest share of adults who report having 14 or more mentally unhealthy days per month, so people in the city seem to be taking care of themselves psychologically. Finally, Fremont also ranks sixth among the most caring cities in America, and when people care for each other, they boost each other’s happiness.

I really do not get the right-wing media's crusade at all costs desire to trash and extort California cities, Chicago and NYC.

No place is perfect, but these places are literally some of the most desirable places in the world.

San Francisco's vibrancy attracts More AI leases [IMG]

Just last month, Anthropic signed a 100,000-square-foot lease for additional offices across the street from its nearly 230,000-square-foot headquarters.

    Office leasing from AI firms
in San Francisco will only accelerate in the coming months,
Office demand increased 107 % last month 'compared to September of last year. That’s an increase of more than 350 percent since OpenAI launched ChatGPT in 2022.
