Pippen was subpar and acted like a total tool his one year on the Rockets. That said, he was an excellent, borderline superstar player in his prime with the Bulls. If anything, his personality was the one thing that held him back. People calling Pippen a role player similar to JR Smith are being ridiculous. Amen and the team would be extremely lucky if he’s able to approach a career like Pippen’s.
Other than FT where exactly is the large difference? PPG is just due to Amen having more attempts they have near identical TS% Also thats not a graph thats a table lol.
What’s helping the case of none max would be what other scrappy defensive players are getting paid for in current market. Camara, Anthony Black, Dyson Daniel, Cason Wallace and obviously his twin brother Asur arent/wont be getting anything near max in current CBA market. Amen would’ve been exception if he was able to improve his shooting but so far he only improved FT% but gotten worse on defensive side. Honestly Dyson Daniel has been much better player than Amen is and he makes $40 mil per year so I could see him getting similar numbers but Amen is media sweetheart like Mobley which brings up the price
Because you said Scottie Pippen wasn’t a good player and then did your smarty pants act when I asked you to name one player you think is good. Michael Jordan then?
Are you lying or just overly emotional about Pippen? What i actually said was I'm not sure Scottie Pippen is a star in the modern NBA because teams would exploit his high volume, low efficiency scoring...something that was the norm back when he played but is nearly unplayable today. Saying someone isn't a star isn't saying they are no good. His defense would be enough to clear the bar of "good player" but his bad offense would keep him from being a star in the current NBA. Now I've spelled that out in terms an 8 year old could understand so if you keep pretending to misunderstand it means you are a dishonest piece of **** or a complete moron. Either will get you blocked.
No need to restate it, this is a forum it's still there. See? Look: What's to misinterpret? I just wanted to know who meets your exacting standards, if not one of the objectively most successful basketball players in the history of the NBA. You kinda said Michael Jordan, but I think I helped that one along. Do you even like basketball? Sheesh.
Clearly I did have to repost what I said since you decided to lie about it....when dealing with a liar I bring receipts. I said he wouldn't be a star in today's game, I said I didn't think he was very good, you then changed that to saying the claim was that he wasn't good at all. Anyway, it's clear that you are a dishonest piece of ****, so there's no point in me continuing to treat you like a poster who deserves any level of respect whatsoever. Goodbye.
Just name one player you like... I like Jokic. He passes so well for a really big guy and that catapult ass three pointer is devastating. Ok your turn?
Your premise is incredibly stupid. I like most good players. The fact that you are losing your mind over me NOT liking one of the most overrated players in NBA history doesn't mean that my opinion of good players and bad players are radically different from most. You're just emotionally attached to one of the guys who rode MJ's coattails...that's fine, tell your therapist about it, don't throw a tantrum here about it.
I know, I know, you want me to say one player, so you can be a dishonest piece of **** and say "SO A PLAYER HAS TO BE MJ TO BE GOOD?!?!?!?!" You aren't bright enough or clever enough to mask your pathetic sophistry. It's transparent.
