I cancelled fubo last night and signed up and did not have this experience at all. I started out using my phone while chromecasting it to my TV and it was working great. Towards the end of the game I installed the app on my appletv and watched the rest there, quality was great and no lag. I was expecting bugs being the first day but it was all good on my end.

Yah, maybe its my setup... I did watch the end on my pc and the quality was pretty good. I was actually happy with it, if I can get it to stream to my chromecast I think I'll be very happy with it. If not then I'll just get a TV that has the app....

Watching SCSN on DirectTV stream does not have a 2-3 minute lag, and if it does it's a problem with your equipment, not the service.

Could be an equipment issue for me and many people I know then. That being said, SCHN+ is much closer to the real life gametime action.

Still watched on FUBO last night but checked the new app as we cancelled the subscription once we saw the announcement. The app is probably 15 seconds ahead of the Fubo stream.

Not 2-3 minutes, but Fubo typically has a 10-30 second lag. Just enough that when my wife's phone and my phone both get a notification while Alvarez is up to plate, we know we are about to see a massive homer.

I'll probably get this when the app becomes accessible on my smart TV. I've been waiting for something like this.

Question - does the app allow you to watch full game after it's over?

No, just a live stream of the game. But SCHN will show replays of the game a couple of hours after the live game is over.

That was my question before I signed up, and I sure hope that is not the case, but I love Houston sports so much I jumped in anyway.

I signed up last week, but I'm underwhelmed so far. I watched some of the Suns and Mavs games last week and those were fine, but last night's Clippers stream was awful on my PC. Really choppy and when I switched to another open tab on my browser during timeouts, it would stop playing and I'd have to click on "LIVE" in order for it to get caught up.

Also, I have an LG C1 in my home theater with a PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nvidia Shield hooked up to it and the SCHN+ app is unavailable on any of them. I was able to install it on my Amazon Fire stick on my other TV downstairs, but even that has issues. The options menu on the left hand side doesn't seem to be removable, so that compresses the image a bit and the players wind up being stretched vertically.

Hopefully they iron out these problems, but you'd think at minimum they'd make sure the app is available on as many devices as possible when it launches.

I had issues for a couple of minutes last night, but it cleared up quickly (not sure if the issue was theirs or mine). Granted, I cast from my phone to the TV so that I don't have issues with switching tabs.

For the most part, very happy with the service for the price. Granted, I'm a little bit more lenient for first month out there. If the hiccups in signal keep being an issue and are only an issue with their app, I may become less happy a couple of months down the road.

Yeah, I'm hoping they'll improve things in the near future. The quality of the stream along with the availability of the app are theoretically issues that should easily be resolved.

So do you recommend signing up for it? I’m planning on signing up for it for Sunday’s game?

I suppose it depends on how you plan to use the app. If it's on a phone or tablet, you're good. If it's on a television, make sure you have the Fire Stick or Apple TV. And if it's on a browser, be prepared for the stream to be a little jerky at times.

It's actually pretty good, because I have a Samsung tv I had to get a fire stick...

PSA to anyone with Samsung tvs

If you get a fire stick get a 4KMAX fire stick. The Select versions run on on Linux and the app is android based. Only the android based fire sticks will work....

Great we now have replays with full control menus. I cancelled FUBO already and will be cancelling my auto-renewal to NBA APP and spend that money on the new stream for the Rockets and the Astros. Getting rid of all those other feeds will save me more than $150 for what I am about to cancel.

What about all the VOD questions from before? Can you help us with that.

    • are their archive of the games, like the Nuggets and Wizards apps supply?
    • Can you watch from the beginning when you’re 1 hour late, like NBA LP allows?
    • How are the controls for FF Pause RW overall while watching Live
Cool thx for adding that. That’s a key feature. What about my 2nd question above about Live viewing when you start late?
