Why are you talking about last season it's irrelevant to what I said. What ta hell does that have to do with anything? Most people called us contenders this year so we are underachievers this year cuz we sure as hell ain't contenders.

 

We are contenders as the 4rth best team in the West at worst.

 

Spurs are worse than the Rockets IMO. Sure they have Wemby, but Wemby is always injured right gonna miss the awards threshold again for 2nd straight year.

Castle is really good but is basically a poor man's Amen. Harper is also really good but Wemby cast is just him, Fox and Castle basically 3 pgs. Their other guys are replacement level players I would argue those other guys like Sochan or Vessel are barely better than Aaron Holiday.

 

If nothing happens that means three of their current already developed players will no longer be on their team.

We are the Salt Grass of the NBA. Better than average but not the best. We all need to shut up and lesson because we are being taught. Enjoy the fandom, There maybe better teams in the league but there only one Rocket.

 

Forget last year, the only game we played against OKC was a double OT thriller.

We have the 3rd best record in the NBA right now? How is that not a contender? We play Denver and OKC close, we played Detroit close, all of these games were basically decided within a possession or two.

You go to any random NBA forum and ask who could challenge OKC and the replies will be either the Rockets or the Nuggets.

Most people called us contenders this year and so far we are?? We're 3rd in the NBA. What teams in the west are you taking against us in a 7 game series? I'd give you Denver and OKC, the rest I don't think you can prove that.

This is the mistake some people are making, we're comparing regular season games. Oh look how OKC completely demolished PHX! Okay, and? Are we PHX? Are we some of these other teams they demolish and beat on by 30? No. They play us and they are in a competitive game. Last season with Jalen Green we even blew them out. Yes last year...but last I checked, 95% of our team and theirs is the same.

OKC is the best team in the NBA but man people forget how close they were to losing in the playoffs. Even this year, their games against other playoff teams are a lot more competitive.

I guess some people don't remember the last team that had this kind of 24-1 start or whatever it was lost in the finals.

This game was sloppy AF and entirely too close.

 

The KD isos against Kawhi were horrendous.

Record wise, we are on target. Comparing to OKC is unrealistic. Just get Tari and DFS back, keep developing Reed, rest Durant, and keep developing chemistry.

Staying healthy is critical. An injury to Chet for example could really shift the landscape.

Two wins against Denver coming up would really inject some confidence.

 

Yes. This is the current dilemma. These are our big 3 and they need to play well together. The coaching staff needs to figure this out.

 

What makes them such a great organization? They got lucky with Wemby. They haven’t been sh*t since Duncan. Wemby goes down and they are just another mediocre team and he is more than likely a high injury player. Stone has been masterful and has stuck to his plan. I hope they don’t get impatient to put something around an aging Durant and stick with the young core.

 

It’s weird the only people who seem to hate on one of the NBAs all time greats are a select few on CF.

 

Use to that strip club lightning! He performs in the dark with flashing lights. If we played the entire game like it was the starting lineup lightning on the court, James could average 100 a night.
