Could you imagine if we won a chip with CP3 with him getting traded to us from Harden's team and cementing his legacy? Wild af lmao
He, Ime, and FVV should go for a round robin boxing match. Winner could become coach and 3rd string pg.
CP3 is worth 180-220M... his contract is 3.6M... i dont know if i could call him a beggar... lol If its a desire to possibly win a title... idk how that jives vs his disdain for Frittata,,,, Would he swallow his words for a final possibility at a title?
Disagree. Getting another vet to mentor Reed would be awesome. Plus, I’d much rather see the corpse of CP3 running an offense than A-Aron.
1000% percent correct, he was a hustle player, not a guy who got by on brains like Lenny Wilkins or even JJ Reddick, or Rudy T, Phil Jackson, Jason Kidd, Ty Lue etc. Ime was never known for being a high BBALL IQ player....he has a lot of room to grow there. DD
Wasn't talking about money at all... He's a beggar in the sense of NBA teams wanting him to play for them. It's not like NBA teams are knocking down his door to trade for him so his options are limited if he wants to keep playing. Sure he can turn down the Rockets if he wants, but when there's not many teams even wanting his services that probably isn't a wise thing to do.
Not sure what you mean. I don't think the Rockets only option is CP3. It's an option that would be cheap and convenient, but I don't think the Rockets are in dire need to get CP3 or have limited options for this season.
CP3 makes the minimum same as Tate, Holiday, Okogie, and Uncle Jeff. I'd trade Green and Tate for CP3 myself as a pure swap of same salary. On a veteran team I'm quite sure CP3 will rub a lot of people the wrong way. But on this team with Amen and Reed both needing to improve dramatically at being PGs, him providing direction is likely to be much more of a positive.
Rockets just strapped for cash and the options are limited with someone like CP3's experience. We're not trading away draft picks either (maybe Tari but I also don't see that happening)
