Easy yes if we can get him. We need someone that can handle the ball and have a high iq.

He would be awesome for Reed. Way closer to a top PG than FVV.

    We don't need another coach.

    We need a player...and, he's toast.

CP3 being traded from the Clippers to the Rockets, just like old times.

CP is washed, but he is the only one that I’d consider trading for (unlike all the “vet” noises)

While that's certainly true regarding the staff, we also need another guard that can actually still play.

CP would prefer Houston given a higher chance to win the title.

He can play 10-15 mins no doubt.....and he can coach Reed as a PG way better than anyone associated with the Rockets today.

And. as many pundits have mentioned, he tends to wear thin after a year or so -- and this would only be for half a season. And the Clippers org and current Clippers players are not like Houston at all. Kawhi and co run away from accountability. I don't think Ime has a problem with hard nosed players that demand a certain level of accountability from every single player, particularly the stars. If KD is okay with it, then I say bring him in. I dunno how that works contract wise for a trade but don't give anyone up that has played any meaningful minutes this season, including JD Davidson.

I don't hate it. At worst just cut him if it doesn't pan out

He may be washed. But im sure he can be a weapon for a game or 2 in the playoffs. Bring him in!

Have y’all seen Chris Paul this season? He’s more cooked than John Cornyn’s brisket

I don't know who any of those "insiders" are.

Regardless, I know that the Rockets only have 1 active PG on their roster, Reed Sheppard, and Ime has him on a short leash. I also know that our offense outside of Reed, which is basically just isos & putbacks, won't carry us farther than the 2nd round. Considering the foregoing, if Ime thinks Chris has enough juice left in him to run the offense for 20 minutes a night, then I'm certainly for it.

Maybe Chris really is washed. But he also played in 82 games for the Spurs last year, and averaged over 7 assists per game in 28 minutes. So was he really that bad on the Clippers? Maybe. But then again, maybe he didn't have anyone to pass to.
