Have you ever used pirate streams? Playback was much, much better than relying on pirate streams. All you needed to do was ask for a VIP in Clutch’s playback. I always had LP, but used playback VIP access for blackouts.

...doesn't shock me - I think the platform was a good idea personally but televised sports continues to be a problem that won't evolve into the digital age as long as ad driven sports revenue streams are as profitable as they are. Honestly the only way you could probably do this is if you can demonstrate that this is something that could improve betting revenue to sports books - they are realistically the only business partner with deep enough pockets and a seat at the table to make this profitable if you can redesign your platform experience to drive betting conversions over ad revenue.
Thanks to Snail, Manny and DD for a great run this year and past years with Clutch and Jackson. Also, to all those who went on stage - PG, Fins, HP and others. Was truly enjoyable watching and chatting with you all. @GOATuve quite a few of us had a lot of fun in Playback, and yes, that included DD as moderator. You come off as just an ignorant hater. It's people like you who make GARM threads ****. Hopefully, we can find an alternative.
Yeah, it was only a matter of time. No way Playback could grow at the speed they needed to sustain the platform. Hopefully, a large media outlet sees the potential in Playback and buys the IP.
He is on my ignore for a reason, clearly has never watched all the shenanigans we got up to and the humor of all the sayings like "stay hard" etc.... It was a fun offshoot community, and it was fun to interact in real time with folks - it will be missed, the GARM is good too, but fun to watch people having fun together - feels more like a community event, IMHO. As for patting myself on the back, more often than not I took it on the chin for some takes like KPJ or Cam - got to take the punches if you are in the ring. DD
Why would I hate an overweight blowhard on the internet? You are certainly entitled to your opinion though. I rarely make GARM threads so you're wrong yet again I don't know about an alternative but I won't participate in anything that involved DD. I'm not alone in that line of thinking.

It's never been practical for me to use it from the UK, just never seemed to be able to connect in any way where I could enjoy the game the same way as league pass which is fantastic for us out here at least tbh. I think it's a shame for those guys who did get to use it, I love and use the game thread like a streaming chat so I'm sure I would've loved the playback if I could've ever got it to work. Hopefully as they said in the release it isn't the complete end and some big network resurrects it for you guys, sounds like a cool way to watch the game tbh, like hanging with your bros but from a distance.
Genuine question, has nobody ever thought of starting a clutchfans discord? You couldn't stream the game, but as long as everybody had game access you could easily do the talking heads/hosts commenting thing and because you can make your channel invite only you could easily moderate it to only include the CF community with no trolls...
I recommend this to SnailChamp. It's obviously not integrated but serves the same purpose regarding live chat. We shall see what happens going forward. Edit: like you said, hanging out with the bros is the kind of vibe that Playback had. Was superior to the game thread due to live reactions and being able to go on the stage to audio chat.

To have such hatred for someone due to bad takes or differing opinions is pretty immature, and childish.
