Nigeria as a nation didn't exist when the Apostle John wrote the bible. However Nigeria has a modern cleric who CALLS HIMSELF the Apostle John so maybe that's who you are referring to.

I don't know what you are referring to when you state that the Apostle John claims that the nation of Nigeria is literally Satan either. The "John" who wrote the book of Revelation was NOT the Apostle John but was most likely John of Patmos who was an exiled Prophet sometime after Jesus' time.

And the John who wrote Revelation (which is the book that most clearly defines the opposition to God or whom you might refer to as "Satan") was actually warning of Emperor Nero as the antichrist figure we needed to be warned of, and Emperor Nero of course resided in what is now central Italy.

Other regions the Bible warned of as being locations that are evil in nature would be south Israel or the south area of the Dead Sea.... which is not anywhere near the Nation of Nigeria.

However yes it does look like there are reports of illegal organ harvesting happening in that region by criminal organizations. I also see that the government and their law enforcement recognizes it, and is taking action to investigate, and prosecute those criminals.

If you care deeply about corruption, and stabilization of nations such as Nigeria, etc. I recommend you advocate to your state and local congressman/woman to have the US invest deeper into our State Department, and reinstate USAID funding that the Trump admin cut off that advances our influence in this region so the US, and the West can have greater influence to ensure human rights are not violated. The cutoff of USAID funds means that China, India, and Russia will be relied on to influence the Nigerian government, or offer assistance in human rights issues such as this.

So again... if this is something you care about, I would call your representative, and demand they reinstate USAID funds, and immediately call for hearings with the State Department to call in the diplomats to Nigeria to ask how they are working to influence and advocate for human rights in Africa.

I will admit though that those actions would not be very "America First" per say, but if its something you deeply care about, that would be the best way to stop human rights abuses in Nigeria from our seat here in the United States.

 

Honesty has nothing to do with factual correctness. At least biblically correct as we all know facts and the Bible are what they are since it was written by folks a couple generations removed from the people who would have had firsthand knowledge of Jesus’ teachings.

Regardless of how I feel about your intentions to paint broad brushes about an entire culture, it is important that your misrepresentations of the Bible be corrected at the very least.

It’s also not that emotive of a question to ask if this is something you really care about, what would be the best way for us here in the US to take action.
