I only care about TALENT - and finding a way to unlock it.....some guys NEVER get unlocked - most though eventually figure it out, to some extreme.

My only point about Cam was trading him for nothing, seems instead of doing the hard work of getting him to get over his immaturity we just shipped him off for nothing....I don't like that.

And most of those still here b****ing are the same impatient bunch that hated on KPJ - before he figured it out.....he was better than Jalen when he was here, and is better than Jalen now....folks didn't like that when it was pointed out....and probably still don't.

Yes, it is too much to ask given everything we have seen! He stinks at NBA right now.

I know he's just trying to divert attention from the fact that Cam Whitmore is managing to absolutely crater his career by failing to meet expectations on the worst team in the NBA and not being good enough to crack their rotation.

.....but I just looked up DD bête noire Jalen Green's career totals over 4 seasons (+ 1 game this year) and found out he has scored over 1000 more points (6204) than Cam Whitmore and Kevin Porter Jr. ( 5159) combined in 11+ NBA seasons

Who cares? He was given the ball without earning it on day 1.

Cam is struggling, lots of 21 year old guys who are headstrong and talented do - it is not surprising, MOST of them mature, but not all - I just didn't like giving him away for free.

Nor, will I sit here in judgement of a 21 year old that is trying to find his way, and pretend like you are, that this will be all that he will ever be.

It might be, but chances are, it isn't.

And yet he was still better than KPJ and Cam Whitmore - who have both actively tried to undermine their team and their coaches in every single stop.

KPJ maintained his starting spot and got a no-bid contract extension after leavign a game at halftime among other incidents. GTFO with this "earning it" bullsh-t.

Life is never a 1 way street. I am not sure if Cam has the fight in him, it looks 50/50 for me.

Corey Maggette actually had a decent career, so there is that. DD is not full on wrong every turn.

    Exactly. Nor surprising at all.

Like I said earlier, it's one thing to not be playing well. It's another thing that you are not being serious as a professional in practice. I mean, you may get by if you are Allen Iverson. But a young guy who has done nothing doesn't have that leeway. Any self-respecting coach would leash him in the doghouse until he changes his behavior.

Cam has a blank check to rewrite his narrative. He has yet to demonstrate any awareness. He is a talent. So are others. It takes talent + ‘intellect’.

Cam, to me, can succeed very nicely in a ‘microwave’ usage.

DD when do you ever stop...

I don't even know where to begin with this. You think it made any sense for us to keep KPJ after the garbage he gave us year after year and THEN his legal drama? Also, he was still pretty bad last year. He's had six good games this year (half of them being losses).

100% yes, should have waited for the court system to decide guilt or innocence, like Bridges got in Charlotte.

I know in the modern social media world people leap to conclusions - no need to do anything until facts are in.

BTW - his SKILLSET is exactly what is missing on this team.

Today - it is leap to conclusion, we would never had had Mad Max today - ....or many other important NBA players.

The Rockets got rid of loser-ass disruption KPJ and literally doubled the number of games they won. Glad they recognized their mistake rather than "waiting for the court system to decide guilt or innocence" - which as we discussed at length, did not actually occur, as KPJ pleaded guilty to assault.

4 Teams have given KPJ a chance, that is actually a lot of leeway for DD and the player.

Not counting the Greek team he played on overseas.

Hell yes! Let’s have a guy that beats his girlfriend and throws things at coaches. It’s a great thing to have around an extremely young team, instead of players like CVV Brooks Tate and Green.

If you want that BS around a vet team is one thing. If you have that around young guys it is just plain dumb and taking a gamble.

That’s your opinion but I sure the hell wouldn’t do it. And Stone made the right decision easily to me.

None of that was proven Pele, and she said it didn't happen, so sorry if I believe what the girl said over randos on the internet.

Doesn't matter Stone made his choice and you agreed with it, I did not - so what?

    Ye
Yah she took a payout. And you’re choosing to be ignorant of examples like it in the past.

Bill O’Reily didn’t sexually harass his female co-worker either amirite??

Like I said in the past if you had a daughter that took the payout from KPJ and abused her. Would you have him on your team? I highly HIGHLY doubt it.
