We should really go after CP3. Let's bridge the gap for these 60 or so games that Amen and Reed are learning the PG spot. He'll prepare them for the playoffs and be ready to give us excellent backup minutes by then. It will reduce the stress on Ime having to figure out the offense.

Hope they reach out and agree to sign him on X date where we can afford to do it for the remainder of the season. Clippers can waive him when they're ready. In the meantime, he needs to hit the treadmill, he's not in NBA shape yet.

Half a season for the minimum to give us 15-25 minutes per game for the rest of the season. Exactly what we need, and it doesn't take serious minutes away from Reed and Amen.

I bet he'll want to show fans that the Clippers were stupid to send him home. We should do it. He's not gonna f*ck around in Ime's locker room.

He would be an unbelievable addition 5 years ago. I'm not sure if he has anything left in the tank anymore.

We don't need any more "coaches", who are done/unavailable this year. Our addition needs to be able to handle the rock, shoot, and finish.

Congratulations to Vasilleos Spanoulis, who can now claim that he had a very similar career to Chris Paul in terms of trying and failing to claim unearned leeway with Jeff Van Gundy.

Chris Paul hasn’t been officially cut or waived yet. (And no he didn’t sign with the Lakers)

Ok so what does that have to do with being an ******* and asking everybody to be accountable when you suck ass?

I am not surprised Cp3 has declined I am surprised he is tearing everyone else down when he is the one playing the worst.

Like imagine you are the worst guy in the office but you are the one blaming everyone else including the company, the boss, even the janitor and staff. Don't you think that would rub people the wrong way? How does that show any leadership thats just being toxic and blaming people.

Regarding CP3 here, my first thought was no way, he's washed. But the Clippers are a dumpster fire and we really need another PG to generate looks for everyone else. Ideally you trade for someone, but who is out there who isn't cost prohibitive? CP3 might be able bridge this lost year for Fred.

Technically he's still on the roster. They have to release or trade him still which I think they will do after Dec 15.

Remember, unlike most buyout situations, Paul is on a vet min, so legit chance he doesn’t clears waivers…meaning, in current lottery order, those ahead of us have to pass on taking over his vet min contract.

    I don’t see him clearing waivers …

That’s why I think it’ll be a trade. Clips might think he’s a cancer at this stage, but they’ll still help him find a team he wants, vs allowing the worst teams to get first pick.

I think they will trade him after Dec. 15th. His salary is easy to absorb. Paul ain’t going to play for a lottery team just to stay in the league so waivers is not a very good option. Probably traded the Lakers for a 2nd round pick or something similar.
