IDK, but Bondi said the DOJ has known who the pipe bomber was for the last 5 years and sat on the evidence instead of arresting Cole.

 

The craziest thing is Merrick Garland was the biggest weasel of AG in modern history. This is the same dude that appointed a special prosecutor into biden and his son but somehow sat on evidence against Cole. Its just hilarious how utterly stupid that theory is.

The answer to this question is easy. Garlands DOJ didn’t pursue because evidence is reportably not that great and circumstantial. Garland was incredibly risk adversed and his people sat on this one waiting for better evidence to come in via their crowdsourcing reward effort and nothing came in so it sat.

Bondi’s DOJ cut anyone around this case so they are probably just now looking at some of this stuff that sat and they said “oh wait… our suspect for the pipe bombs is colored!!… let’s indict him and try to flip the narrative on Jan6”.

They don’t care about winning convictions. They care about the politics.

Also super important that Trump already pardoned this guy so he’s going to get off. Even if he isn’t a Trump supporter he would be an idiot to not go into that courthouse full maga and show his intent was related to January 6th so there is no way you could conceivably say he isn’t included in that insane blanket pardon trump gave anyone and everyone that day.
