Im fascinated to see what Tech’s defense would look like against a fast physical team like Georgia or Ole Miss. They’re freaking awesome but there’s also a part of me that doesn’t completely buy it. Absolutely deserving of a top 4 seed though. What a season for them.
Yeah. Tech played the worst QB I've ever seen in my life. They deserve the spot but nobody can trust them with that schedule.
AP Poll (fwiw)…find out in an hour. 1. Indiana 2. Georgia 3. Ohio State 4. Texas Tech 5. Oregon 6. Ole Miss 7. Texas A&M 8. Oklahoma 9. Notre Dame 10. Miami 11. Alabama 12. BYU 13. Vanderbilt 14. Texas 15. Utah 16. USC 17. Tulane 18. Michigan 19. James Madison 20. Virginia 21. Arizona 22. Navy 23. North Texas 24. Georgia Tech 25. Missouri
Indiana for the WIN.......how fun was that game, now we need to be Indiana today and slay the F`n Chiefs
Great against who. WVU? Lulz. Yall have got to stop pretending and look at these opponents at face value. Big 12 is soft. BYU QB would play special teams FB at South Carolina. I hate the idea of JMU and/or Tulane playing. But I think the committee should just block ND and Miami. No conference title game, no dice.
How can one put a team into the CFP that managed only -3 rushing yards in their final game? That’s not a championship caliber team. lol.
Under that idea, they should block the other teams that missed their championship game, like Oregon, Ole Miss, A&M, and Oklahoma.
9. Alabama 1. Indiana8. Oklahoma 12. James Madison 4. Texas Tech5. Oregon 10. Miami 2. Ohio State7. Texas A&M 11. Tulane 3. Georgia6. Ole Miss First 2 out: Notre Dame, BYU
Somewhat fine punting OU but there just aren't enough teams and their resume is better than the closely contested ND/Miami slot. The other teams only have 1 loss. So no. Not the same logic with those. TAMU gets Miami. I'd rather be seeded 9 vs 7. Don't @ me.
Oregon v Vandy and Ole Miss v ND are games I can actually look forward to, watch, and enjoy. Why are we playing peepee games, man.
Miami was always going to get a spot, they weren't going to keep the ACC out entirely. 9-3 Bama gets in because they're Bama. Is A&M better than Miami? Neither have beaten a single good team other than Notre Dame. They had two common opponents and Miami won by more in each case. A&M coming off an embarrassing loss to UT. I smell an upset.
Going back to my suggestion to block Miami and ND for not having a conference title. That was scenario specific. Unique situation. Miami avoids their title game through pee-pee games and ND has no conference (through pee-pee games). Gotta punish the ACC and ND IMO. Dumb idea? Dumber to let JMU and Tulane in.
