Part of me wishes I had the confidence to keep embarrassing myself defending a terrible take like an idiot.

It takes time and frankly skill to do those little things . Not everyone can do it

I never thought cam looked that athletic . He doesn't have the lateral quickness of a very good defender . He is strong for his age and has height .

    Okogie is a good player

JD looks ok so far , but he has a very small role and if I were betting on if he plays in the playoffs my answer would be no unless we are in serious injury trouble

It's obviously my preference that Tate find his form again , but he looks straight up bad this season . And I'm the biggest Tate fan here . I'm glad they sent him down to the g League to find his game a bit , because I think he can be equal or better than okogie and that type of player is great for us .

Us trading Cam was doing him a favor , but he hasn't earned minutes on a much more wide open team . That's his fault .

I saw him last game sitting on the bench showing no emotion whatsoever. The rest of the team was standing and cheering the team on and high-fiving CJ as he was going for 47 points. Cam just looked unbothered and it was very noticeable. Wishing him the best, I was a huge Cam supporter, but that was bad.

You have to have worked in the real world with people like Cam to understand Cam. DD came up and made money on the internet bubble working with upper middle class folk. That is fine. Cam has probably been pretty well off since he was old enough to get compensated under the table for his abilities but obviously there is some personality disturbances there. Nothing major but it reminds me of Royce White in a way. I like the kid but I do think it has gone on long enough to think that it will always be a part of him. Very much how Jalen will always have some of the unsightly part of his personalities exist. Some of these guys (Like the Thompson twins or Jabari) are just raised different.

When you have young people like that, you have to intercept them pretty early in life to eliminate that stuff. Sprinkle in a bit of silver spoon aura from being the basketball stud and you end up just OK in the NBA. I don't project he just magically puts it together. Probably better than Terrance Williams but I don't think he would be doing us any good on the team. Attitude and teamwork above everything.

I run restaurants with many Cam's inside of them. Brilliant young people who are entitled and raised in this horrible society we have damaged over the last 30 years. It rarely works out. I will talk with folks a few times about stuff like this but always end up giving them the boot.

Impressive game for Cam. He even had one assist. But he got outplayed by another DD legend KPJ.

Same old Cam. Nothing new. Occasionally he will have a nice game number wise like tonight. But then you look at his season averages, not much improvement from year 1 to now. Matter of fact, for a supposed scorer, his 3PT% is getting worse every year.

    Move on.

    Cam is gonna Cam.

This is why he was a DNP against the Hawks.

You missed that he had the flu......lol. Otherwise he would have gotten his 10-15 minutes.

It is not like Washington is going anywhere denying him the sporadic minutes.

The coach is only saying if he wants to be a starter or a 25 minutes guy, that is up to him. Way to interpret things.

Nah, man. Coach flat-out said “that’s the reason he wasn’t in the game tonight.”

Well, it made him look worse as a coach shorthanded as he is....

If he thinks the saving grace is running Khris Middleton out there for major stretches.....

He is not winning either way.

People who are using that against Cam, Keefe is under the same pressure to be fired as Silas was if he can't turn it around.

Cam is averaging the same as Middleton in 8 fewer minutes, so much for vet presence/certain standards.

    Lose lose for both sides.

Rotowire suggested that he was out with illness so it wasn't of my own accord.

    So it wasn't serious illness.

Cam has been suffering from the illness his whole life which was part of the scouting report and one of the main reasons his stock dropped so low in the draft. It's a flareup type illness and doctors don't know exactly what causes it but he had it flare up here as well. They call it Grodahelup and it's something that usually becomes dormant as you get older but for some it doesn't. Depends on the severity of your affliction.

That is fair, I just think the Wizard coach had all the information on Cam and still traded for him.....

Or the organization and the coach are not on the same page which is worse.......

If it is just growing up......there are tons of athletes are are immature and they still have a job.

I think it is more that the coach think you are incapable of playing Defense, that might be a start, or your IQ is really low....
