It really does seem that we ALWAYS play KC at their place. In fact, it "seems" like KC plays ALL their games at home.
So over the past 10 regular seasons, we've played them 4 times on the road and 4 times at home. If you don't want to play them on the road in the playoffs you might consider winning more games than they do. Oh, and we're 0-1 at home and 0-2 on the road vs KC in the playoffs
4 of the last 5 regular season games have been @KC. In the Mahomes era: 2025 @ KC 2024 @ KC 2022 @HOU 2020 @ KC 2019 @ KC Obviously, that's a huge disparity working against the Texans.
Final thoughts before the game: Houston "will be outcoached," that is a given. Reed and Spagnola are at a different level. Our defense is better, but theirs isn't bad. Their QB is otherworldly; ours is a tad above average. Their offensive line is injured; ours is average. The outcome is a toss-up.
Smith and Taylor are doubtful and Simmons is on the IR. No excuse to not have a dominant performance from WAJ and Hunter. I want to see a demoralizing, Mahomes crushing, game like Buffalo. On offense, we need to be aggressive. The Chiefs give up a ton of a penalties and we need to force them to make plays.
I don't know why having a top 5 Starting QB AND a top 5 Backup QB is such a difficult concept. There is no controversy here.
Colts. Jags have a cupcake schedule and we don't play against them again. Jags lose and the Texans completely control their own destiny.
Not only did they get more home games than away this year. One of their away games was a neutral site that was a de facto home game.
Jags for me. They aren’t going to beat Indy in Indy. Lawrence is highly likely to throw a game away down the stretch.
