This team badly needs Alperen's playmaking. Without him offense is so poor.

 

A player with a +5 in a 15 point loss was unplayable. Logically, that doesn‘t make any sense.

 

reed sheppard a +5

 

He is important but I think he's not needed for lesser teams, although Dallas is not a lesser team with AD playing and if AD and Kyrie were playing Dallas is probably right in the mix for 2-4 seeds.

But against most teams I don't think we need him. Come playoff time we definitely do.

 

having him guard Marshall was not working.. but tbf the help defense was nonexistent

 

i don't know what it is, people love to blame everything on Reed

we all know why too

 

Amen does way more for this team at the moment than Reed does. Reed doesn't have the luxury of being 6-7 and a DPOY candidate. He cannot afford to be a turnstile on defense and a turnover on offense.

 

What did he have anyway? Second day in a row lol geez. Let’s put the big boy pants on

 

everyone hates the IRS…

 

If you watched the game it makes perfect sense. He started the fourth when they were trying to make the come back and got blown by on play after play. +5 is a worthless stat you are using to push a narrative. Ime gave him plenty of rope.

i think you are wrong. lesser teams beat up on the rockets without adams. you would think that wouldn't be the case, but it is absolutely the case.

 

Based on tonight's result and the absentee list, is our franchise player

(b) Adams
(c) Eason
(d) VanVleet
(e) DFS
(f) Tyler Smith

 

I feel like we are kinda screwed because FVV is not playing all year long.

If FVV plays, along with Sengun and the rest of the guys, KD could chill a lot more.

His usage is at an all time low though, just when Sengun is out...well, we need him every play.

Amen, Bari, and Reed, neither of them are ready to be a primary scoring option.

except the fact they literally kept doing everything you're blaming reed for (even worse) when he went to the bench

Nobody is saying he had a fantastic stretch

He played just as bad as eveyrone else.

I don't know how you're coming to the conclusion you are taking a 1 minute stretch and ignoring every layup drill and turnover by us with him out of the game

 

Please lets not act like amen wasnt punished for his play during his rookie season.
Reed will be fine. There is still alot of games to be played still..

 

I did in fact watch the game.

+5 can‘t be a worthless stat when you‘re trying to argue someone was unplayable because, by definition, he was playable - because we won the minutes he was on the floor.

 

I mean it’s not like this loss was his fault, but he wasn’t able to guard anybody tonight and the mavs exploited it over and over again. So people acting like Ime has something personal against Reed is so stupid.
