This doc was better than expected -- I totally forgot about all the sketchy hood rat sh•t Combs was into before all the sexual weirdness came out.
Havent seen it yet but its produced by 50 cent, so Im sure theres some extra juicy tidbits of animosity thrown in there.
The Tupac/ Biggie segments are worth the watch on their own, but you also get details on the 1991 deaths (9 people) at his first big promotion, 95 murder of Death Row member outside an event, 98 assault of a record executive, 99 club shooting when he was dating J-Lo, another dude gets shot in a recording studio bathroom and they film the aftermath... etc. This is before they start digging into the sexual allegations -- Combs films everything 24/ 7 and somehow 50 Cent got a lot of tape. Dude is so freaking bizarre it's hard to believe.
It's worth the watch. 50 did a good job with this documentary & Diddy is one crazy mofo. Especially when it gets to the Cassie and his producer parts.
Watched the 1st episode last night. Pretty interesting how he got his start. If he would have just stayed on the up and up, he could have been the next Clive Davis. It always amazes me how people can work SO HARD for SO LONG to become SO SUCCESSFUL ....yet can't seem to figure out how to just be a decent person. You've already done the hard part - being a decent person is supposed to be the easy part! Does success turn you into a different person? Or does it make you more of the person you already are?
