Just imagine if tmac, yao and ron artest was full throttle against Kobe/Gasol and the lakers?

Would of been couple of championships there, atleast another 1.

I wished so bad that Battier would at least be a 18-20 ppg, that Memphis stint was promising......

Up until that point, Harden has had more playoff success than CP3. CP3 was considered a choker.

Father Time* always wins. Stars need to understand their lights diminish. Same sadly happened to Dream here.

there was basically zero interest in Russ this summer…only the dumb Kings took a chance

his days are numbered for sure

AD is basically running on name recognition now

Derozan will have to accept being a bench player very soon

It was always one round with 1 exception, that OKC team was stacked ......CP3 consistently exited in the 2nd Round.

Harden also had 5 more inches, tons of mass and more scoring than Chris.....so talking about underachievement.....not going to go there.

Harden had better super friends than CP3 as well.

Yeah, saw an update that it was a battle between Chris and the front office. Seems even Harden was caught off guard by the decision to send Chris home.

The only thing I worry about adding CP3 is Ime is going to want to start eating Reeds minutes and giving them away.

But yes I do want a vet pg that can distribute the ball. The idea of getting CP3 a ring sounds cool, but in reality he is probably a ring curse.

A changing of the guard is what’s happening here. If these old stars are smart, they would take the bench role on championship level teams. James Harden is probably back to being the sixth man on a championship team right now. Because while he is putting up his big numbers, they are not equating to wins anymore. That goes for the other old stars too.

Crazy how different he and Harden's legacy would be if not for that 2018 hammy.

So after thinking about this, I do think we're close to winning a title so we should go for it. We're performing extremely well for a team with injuries, little chemistry and multiple guys learning the PG spot. We're on a trajectory to be dominant in the second half of this season. We could definitely use a safety net at PG though.

CP3's personality might mesh perfectly with Ime. If he can give us 20 minutes playing better than Aaron Holiday, he'd be filling an important role. The mentorship Reed and Amen would receive is priceless - and it barely affects their minutes this season. Just some healthy competition. Their PG skills would develop much faster. Same mentorship that SGA received.

Since the report came out that he's not at all ready to retire, I think we're actually the perfect fit. Where does he have a chance to contend for a title AND earn as many minutes as he could here? We're the only contender where all our PG's still haven't learned to be full time PG's.

I think the Clippers will have to make some kind of move to be able to free themselves to waive or trade CP3, but I hope we try to acquire him. A half season of CP3 on an "I'll show them" tour might be exactly what we need for this championship run. I don't think he can disrupt our locker room, the culture and hierarchy is very clear here.

That is why they get paid so much in their prime, it never lasts forever.
