Leasing a tax credit qualified EV is cheap as hell for the rest of the month, take advantage. They are trying to move them fast. Even the ones that don't qualify - they have to lower the prices to compete.
I don't believe so. I don't think they would need the huge side vents for an EV. It would make a lot of sense as an EV though.
The pictures suggested that the Front End would be light and the fan - suction system probably is needed to offset that. Corvette CX Concept with Jet-Fighter Roof Could Be the Craziest Vette Yet Along with over 2000 hp and a HUD windshield, it's joined by the CX.R Vision Gran Turismo, which you can drive in the eponymous video game. This wild-looking Corvette CX concept is the latest and last design exercise by GM's global studios, following the U.K.-penned Corvette and the California Corvette. The electric CX has a fighter-jet-style lift-off roof, a fan system that suctions it to the ground, and a 2000-plus-hp quad-motor all-wheel-drive system. The Michigan-based design team also created the CX.R Vision Gran Turismo race car, which has a hybrid twin-turbo V-8 and rear-wheel drive and will be playable in the Gran Turismo 7 video game. ---More at the Link---
OK, that's just bad a$$.......................my Buick Envision would give this car a run for its money for sure!!
I wish we could put the SUV genie back. Cars are so much more space efficient than SUVs. I am guilty of this because I have an SUV now...
You and me both. But that genie doesn't seem to be going back. Automakers have convinced people that they all need pickups and SUV's and then act like "well, that's what they're asking for". To top it off, then they kill the production of sedans to jack up SUV and pickup sales because... wth else are you going to buy? Can't blame them since they make most profit on and probably mark up the most SUVs and pickups. I crack up at how much people are paying for a base model Porsche Cayenne. I don't have anything against the vehicle or the fact it's a base model - I'd buy one. But wth... the prices on those things are over $90k when I think they used to sell 2023 models for around $70k. Of course, the Panameras also skyrocketed in price from what I recall (love that car). I hate SUV's because they pretty much all suck in terms of gas mileage. I was going to look at buying an MDX, then realized how putrid its mileage is. I'm hoping when they come out with a hybrid in the next couple of years (?) it'll be a hybrid SUV. And please don't make me have to buy a Lexus RX hybrid. lol.
Bad a$$ car, but I am in the "practical" part of my life................I drive a Buick but man I would love to drive this a few times
