why would rockets fans mention adelman when yao didn't even play against jazz in that playoff series?
Bro he is just not going to hijack the offense especially as a 21 year old on the floor with KD and Sengun. I know you want him to shoot 20 contested 3s a game the millisecond he touches the rock but that's just not going to happen. The dude is a smart basketball player. There are some possessions where he needs to be more aggressive but there is clearly a game plan to get the ball to KD and Sengun at all costs. They will eventually find a balance
At what point does Reed demand the ball and be aggressive? he did it the last 10 games but his body languyage and play screams weak.
the main point of discussion is yao and fronting. rick adelman did not have yao against utah in the playoff. how is he supposed to solve yao's fronting issue when yao wasn't even playing? the discussion of "utah clowned houston when adelman was a coach", sure whatever. that's not what we're discussing here. so now we're having an online dick measuring contest. good for you, man. have fun.
I have no idea why you're typing this out while he has been taking a back seat to Holiday with garbage minutes. At some point you have to realize what Reed's strengths are and what he did when the team played the best and realize the opposite isn't going to work Let me repeat...he is taking a back seat to holiday and the garbage crew. I literally said this when everyone was b****ing about how I was wrong for saying he should be the 6th man right now and gets wasted as a starter. Reed being a passive dude doesn't serve him or the team. What backs me up? the prior games, +/- stats, reed's numbers and win/loss. You're literally arguing against objective evidence so you can say "hes playing smart!!" We can get lots of dudes to walk the ball up the court and camp by the 3pt lane.
