    the dallas houston rivalry seems to be more from dallas, for some reason they feel the need to always talk about houston. From what I recall we don't really even think about it because we're having a good time

    I think this is partly because Dallas is just monotonous boring ass city thats a conglomerate of houston and austin suburbs

    if price etc wasn’t a consideration it’s always LA/NYC

    all together Houston is a perfect mix

    I’ve lived everywhere btw

    Dallas is stodgy af. It has everything, somehow simultaneously a pro and a con. Feels like it could've been a truly impactful city at one point and what they chose to be was limitlessly bland. And the people either moved here from the panhandle and think it's amazing because they're from the panhandle or they've lived here their whole lives, barely ever traveled because they're too busy grinding out job hours to afford houses that are too old and too expensive but talk **** about other cities they haven't been to in 20 years.

    The worst thing Austin the City ever did was letting SXSW get huge about 15-20 years ago...then all the idiots showed up and didn't leave, the ones who didn't came back for ACL Fest, then the techbros moved in....it was all downhill from there

    Cost benefitted Houston the most, but good mix of night life and entertainment.

    Funny.. Dallas says it's more from Houston. Perspective I guess. The Astros success and Cowbias SB drought has helped balance the scale.
