SCHN+ - Finally Affordable To Watch The Rockets/Astros??

It sounds like in order for you to use the SCHN+ app in Colorado, you would have to "trick" the app into thinking you are in (or near) Houston.

 

Got it, buggy and low quality streams so far... Casting is available but won't work..... Watching pirate stream.... Hopefully they fix it if not I'm cancelling ...

Thanks for the update. Are there replay functions for games in the service? If so, for how long?

 

No functions, literally just the channel live stream... That's it... No resolutions choice, no pause no replay... Just a live player...

 

I was going to ask if it was 1080/60FPS but sounds like a no.

 

Doubt it, for me at least it looked similar to the pirate stream but I did not get to fully try it out because it won't cast to tv...

 

Nevermind, there is a 10 second back function... Just noticed it... Not sure how back you can go thou...

I work two jobs, so often I don't get to watch the games live. Having a reply function is a big deal for me. I could just record the stream with OBS while I'm working, though.

Hey man, check my comments to you. We were talking about LP, so my question was about MLB.TV. We had a disconnect. I wasn’t sure if you were in MLB.TV’s blackout? Was going to ask if you thought going single-team monthly for both was a reasonable alternative to SCHN+? I just think LP and MLB.TV streaming products are superior to what SCHN+ will be (based one what Altitude+ does for Nuggets).

As for price, if you just want the Rockets, the yearly rate is not cheaper than LP, not close. Even if you want both Astros / Rockets, the seasons don’t really overlap much. Just do monthly when needed.

i also consider LP is a superior streaming product to what Altitude+ does for the Nuggets, so I fully expect SCHN+ to lack key features as well. And if you have a college email address or enjoy watching other teams or superstars, that makes LP incomparable.

Yes. I chose to listen to the Sacramento crew for the first half because I really like them, but finished up with Craig and Ryan.

League Pass has gotten a little better this year. I've had it for years and have really hated it, but they seem to have improved on some things. I think it's a fair deal overall.

 

Like it. Only about a 5-10 sec delay to live action compared to the atrocious 2-3 minute delay on Fubo and Direct TV stream.

 

Please give your honest advice. Is this the superb price?

You saying Fubo and direct tv have a 2-3 min delay makes me feel better about my IPTV having same delay.

What Live Action did you compare it to? Direct LP, cable SCHN, clutchfans playback? I’m curious who’s faster?
