If its like MSG there will probably only blackouts for selected nationally televised games, knicks get blacked out if the game is on espn/abc or prime, so far its been like 2-3 games a month

Only bad part is no VOD. But definitely worth it against fubo. I only have it for Rockets games. But maybe wait until VOD is available

 

Will they be showing the half time shows. I don't want to pay $20 a month to watch Calvin Murphy at halftime and not the crossbow lady...

Do you have a source for there being no VOD feature? They seem to have made the finer details of this thing as hard to find as possible.

 

As far as I can tell, this is simply Space City Sports in streamable form. So I doubt it looks or acts any different.

Now that I think about it: I'm not even sure you can pause/rewind (I remember when Apple first started with their baseball coverage you couldn't, which was ridiculous, but they fixed that not long after)

 

Why would anyone expect SCHN to offer multi-channel streaming? SCHN is merely offering streaming of their coverage …

Yep, I was right. Baby steps in the right direction, but they ain't there yet.

 

Not only that but I'm not seeing any original shows or movies, all my streaming services have that... Calling them now to ask a rep when the shows and movies will be available...

It’s the going rate. Monument (Wizards) and Altitude+ (Denver) costs the same amount.

They both have on+demand replays.

Both Monument (Wizards) and Altitude (Nuggets) provide on-demand full replays. And identical pricing. It seems like some 3rd Party streaming technology company is helping RSNs do this … so I’m betting they will all have the same features.

I’d bet on SCHN eventually providing on-demand replays. I can’t image replays not supporting pause, etc. I suppose Live might have technicals hurdles that cost money,,, but replays … I mean, cursor movement is kinda built into that tech,,,teams should get that for free.

The RSN streaming apps are for fans that are under local blackouts by NBALP.

None of the other RSNs are doing national-wide bc it’s kinda silly. If you aren’t blacked out … NBALP is cheaper, provides more games / archives, and better VOD controls.
