He was head of a state sponsored drug cartel that funnels thousands of kilos of cocaine and laundered money for drug lords . This sort of prosecution takes months as @StupidMoniker can testify as hes a prosecutor. We are pardoning one of the worst drug lords in the modern era while we bomb fishing boats in the Caribbean. Its so bad that even the El Salvadorian Prez who loves Trump called him out on this bullshit @Salvy

Words cant describe just how utterly braindead stupid this admin is from top to bottom.

Hegseth: I watch that first strike live. At the Department of War, we got a lot of things to do so I not stick around. Couple of hours later, I learned that commander had made -- which he had the complete authority to do, he made the correct decision to sink the boat and eliminated the threat. And it was the right call. We have his back.

Reporter: So you did not see the survivors after that first strike?

Hegseth: I did not personally see survivors. The thing was on fire. This is what is called the fog of war. This is what you in the press don’t understand. You sit in your air conditioned offices and you plant fake stories in The Washington Post not based in any truth at all.

he threw Admiral Bradley under the bus, drove over him, then reversed to drive over the body again

" Maduro worked with Mexican cartels" lol yall cultists just pardoned the ex president of Honduras who smuggled 1000 kilos of cocaine and funneled money and weapons for the cartel. He was sentenced to 45 years in prison nd Trump pardoned him for a bribe.

Hilarious how the cultists are talking about cartels

Say what you want but atleast Bush tried pushing a propoganda campaign and went to the UN. Trump doesnt even give us fake propoganda

Coke is a white collar drug. Criminals can't afford to use it. It's also expensive and jr needs his fix.

The Larry Hoover situation is very complicated. I was a Fed prosecutor in Chicago at the tail end of some of the fall out of all of this.

We basically scrubbed Chicago of drug dealers and several generations of black men in Chicago by putting them in prison for very very long sentences. Coupled that with tearing down entire areas of town.

Hoover is probably the most charismatic person I have come across, and his intelligence is well above mine or the other prosecutors.

He did run the most organized and successful gang in US history outside of the Mafia. He also was capable of extreme violence when he felt threatened with death from rivals.

His federal charges were commuted but he still has to serve out his term in state prison and at 75, he likely dies behind bars.

I don’t think he is a risk at this point. While his name is legend in Chicago, the top level street dealers in the black areas of Chicago are like 15-20 years old. The rest are either avoiding crime all together or are in prison or dead.

I don’t know if I would have the balls to pardon him but even amongst those that prosecuted him, there is a certain level of respect for him - as odd as that is to say about someone that is a murderer

It just becomes more and more apparent that our leaders will never learn.

How did overthrowing Libya turn out? What about Iraq? Afghanistan? …. We don’t need to be “friendly” with Maduro, but that doesn’t mean creating a power vacuum by assassinating or overthrowing Maduro. That never works out.

I wouldn’t say it’s a white collar drug. That paints an outdated picture of yuppie stock traders doing lines at the strip club. It’s more of a ‘I-have-a-steady-income’ drug.

Hard street drugs have their own demographic, which is poor people. It’s part of the culture and readily available.

People act like we don’t have this thing called the State Department and CIA. We have these institutions for a reason. Because every world problem is not best solved with bombs, 200k troops on the ground, regime change, and installing crooked “business minded” leaders who nobody in that country respects.

It will also be quite rich if the justification for taking out Maduro is because of his antics to rig the prior election to stay in power undemocratically. I seem to recall a certain president very recently threatening prosecution on secretaries of state if they didn’t “find votes” and when that failed he sent a mob to parliament/congress to violently overthrow the electoral process.

So if what Maduro did is worthy of regime change then I guess China or Russia, or whomever has the right to carpet bomb and invade the United States.

    Just think.
If someone 20 years ago would not let anyone from Venezuela into the states, we would have never had number 27 playing 2nd base.

He literally just pardoned a narco terrorist. This isn't about drugs. I honestly have no idea what this is about...but quit pretending this is about protecting the US.
