This dud sucks…Still can’t dribble and still can’t finish!! He’s an ok roll player I guess, but please no more pull up 3 point air balls…Sorry for the thread, I couldn’t help it…
Imagine going through a rough patch at work and your co workers say you suck at your job. That’s kinda you with jabari right now. Give me player who’s not been through a rough few games
Repeat after me: "He's a good NBA player on a reasonable contract for his abilities" It's really not that difficult, and moving forward, it doesn't matter what his draft slot was. I find it deeply strange how obsessed people get about whether a guy is a "bust". Nobody would be calling him a bust if he was picked 30th, or even 13th, but because he was picked #3, everyone has an opinion.
23 million is not bad in today's NBA. Not great, but not bad. A true max contract runs you into over 40 million per year for rookies, look at Cade Cunningham, sitting an average of $44 million per year over the life of the contract, and if he hits incentives over $53 million per year. Bari is, in comparison, indeed a reasonable contract.
I think he has been very good. Multiple improvements needed. A couple years with KD will do a lot for him.
Jabari and the entire team just had their single worst game of the season, an obvious outlier of a crap show, and you "couldn't help" but create a thread ragging on a quality role player. This despite the fact that Bari may just be having the best season of his career so far, while being surrounded by higher tier offensive options. You've been around for 20 years and this is still what you bring to the table?
The Pistons have better record than us. CC deserves that contract. ESPN already put him into top 10 players list.
