I can't believe I have to even say it, everybody has to sit around ball watching and never gets in their groove when this dude shoots over 3 people and doesn't pass to the open dude

KD needs to be the end of the play not the beginning.

But but....he can shoot from anywhere....yeah, that overated trash could , but he will be averaging 30% from the field. Durant was never a leader, hes just someone that benefit from a curry and Westbrook which took all the load away from him and all he had to do was shoot.

Wonder what happens to SGA if you remove free throws.

Wonder what happens to SGA when you remove his signature move/offensive foul where he clears out players with his shoulder before rising up at the elbow.

Precisely. And often gets rewarded for it, even.

It has worked in previous games, but it's ugly when the shot isn't falling, especially when we are already losing. The idea behind it is that the opponent will be forced to double team him (and they often do), and then the ball starts moving and we start getting a lot of open shots as a result of that double team. That's the way it's worked in a lot of our games so far. I think KD is one of the most double-teamed players. But if they're only guarding him with 1 player, and he's still missing, and they're still winning, then the strategy falls apart.

I don’t see KD passing when a double team comes quickly enough and sometimes at all. He has to make that automatic. Maybe he feels pressured to carry the team, but those are low percentage plays and completely kill the rhythm.

The other problem is some teams are better at denying the ball to KD. And it gets ugly when we try to force feed him. We lose a lot of time, turn over the ball and even he gets the ball he needs to get to his spots. This is not the game for 37 year old KD.

the main problem with kd is, he clogs the midrange area, making it difficult for the others to operate.I think we can decrease his first option possessions and use him as a second option/problem solver/end of shot clock situations more.

Lakers got Lebron standing in the corner due to old age and we have KD going iso every possession for 40 minutes. This is not sustainable long term.

He also uses either his left or right arm to ward off the defender when he makes his move. That would be an offensive foul for anyone not named SGA. Silver tolerates it because he needs that "superstar" for marketing purposes. It is dishonest and unfair to all NBA players, though.

Your point? Who cares where he comes from? Dream came from Nigeria, Duncan came from the Virgin Islands, Nash from Canada, Jokic and Doncic from Eastern Europe, Wembanyama from France, Giannis from Greece, etc. So?

A bad KD shot is still high percentage efficient one before the result tho right?

We don't run KD iso every play. Offense was obviously not the problem last night. We have the second ranked offense in the entire NBA. I hate clutchfans. I have this clown blocked, why do i still have to see these moronic threads?
