We needed this son of a gun. It will haunt us for years. This team no matter what the Homers say is lacking an another offensive weapon to take pressure off of the 37 year old. It is TOO MUCH to ask him at this age to carry us on his back. Amen, Reed, Jabrari are not yet ready for prime time offensively to carry us. Reed, as I stated before and got roasted, is not quite solid enough yet to be handed the keys as a full time starter. He was better off the bench, because now we have zero sparks off the bench. THANKS FOR GIVING AWAY CAM FOR A BAG OF CHIPS our way overrated GM!!!
No? Did you not read my post? That's not my argument at all. And I literally said in the very first sentence that I think Ime is "a really good coach", so I don't know where you are getting "terrible coaches" from. Your reading comprehension is extremely poor. It's got nothing to do with the result of the game, my post is about the specific lineups that he runs out. Did Reddick run out a lineup of Laravia, Bronny, Jaxson Hayes, and Gabe Vincent in the middle of the third quarter? I didn't watch the game, but I seriously doubt it. And that is the issue that I have with Ime.
I'm actually really interested in what specifically did Ime do or not do that would qualify him as a terrible coach? I'm not a coach (I'm just a cave man) but for all the rhetoric I'm hearing very little specifics. I'm asking sincerely, what did he do, or not do, that another coach would have done, that made the difference? Run the "picket fence"? Before the game we were #2 in offense and defensive rating after the previous 17 games. Not a small sample size. The only thing I don't understand is why Reed wasn't playing in the 4th. That and there wasn't really any team movement on offense, not like I've seen in previous game. Too much ISO. But was that Ime? If I needed to blame anyone for last nights loss I would probably call out our "superstars." Specifically KD and Alpi. Stats aside they seemed to move the least.
Durant has been a problem in several games this year, especially in our losses. When he's on, he's amazing, but when he's off, he becomes an inefficient, low IQ turnover machine. Considering his age and his recent history, though, something tells me he's just saving a lot of his energy for the playoffs, in which case I'm not that upset. We are likely still more than good enough to get a solid playoff seed even with Durant falling asleep in 25% of our games. ... Re: Alpi... He's had a few real s*** shows on the court this year, too, but not sure about this one. Having missed last night's game, just based on the box score, Alp does NOT seem like he was any part of the reason for that loss. Many big men don't need to move a lot off ball to be valuable for their team.
This guy again. **** man, lay off the booze. There should be a 24 hour rule for posters who have been registered on this forum for less than a year. Or even a rule that you have to be registered on this forum for 1 year in order to start a thread. **** dude, what the hell??
We were number 2 seed last year we are top 3 at the moment our defensive and offensive rating are near the top of the league at the moment we don’t have FVV who was vital to pace and defense, no DFS, no Tari Eason who’s playing really well this season This thread is an overreaction. It wasn’t coaching yesterday it was the players. The players looked sloppy yesterday. 3 fouls in a row to put them in the bonus after cutting the lead down to 1 from 21. Honestly it was a good move by Ime putting in Tate. He actually looked like he gave a damn. This game will be forgotten in 2 weeks
i did watch. i saw him being mistaken for bbq chicken and knew that the usual suspects would be up in arms not over the team performance, but reed's game time in the 2nd half.
I love that AI just casually gave Udoka an extra arm, now he can make adjustments way faster... Maestro™
