Does Will Byers declare his love for Mike already? Or you think that will come later on in the season?
One thing this season suffers from--that a lot of shows and movies do as well--is the writers use bad/little communication as a plot device. If the characters just talked like normal people and took two seconds to explain why they are doing something, things would go smoother. Instead, we have El and Hop yelling at each other or some of the kids running off and doing something on their own without telling anyone else. It diminishes my enjoyment of the show.
I found it a tad predictable but it is entertaining as hell, I admit. Maybe I used to play Resident Evil a lot and it does not spook me that much.
Agreed. Had to stay away from here because I didn't get a chance to watch all until yesterday morning. Great start. Don't like the Kryptonite

I find myself getting on ChatGBT and looking up the episode synopsis while watching just for some context. Still love the show, though. Man, I really wanted those jocks who beat up Dustin to get what's coming to them.
One of the downsides of them taking so long in between seasons is you kind of lose your connection with the characters (which is exacerbated by the actors aging up as well). I remember being pretty devastated a couple seasons ago when we thought Hop died. This season when the same possibility plays out, I found myself not really being moved emotionally. The overall season so far has been great and it is shaping up for an epic finish, but I wish they had figured out how to compress the time between seasons (I know some of that was out of their control).
I'm trying to figure out who's gonna die this season. My votes are for Jonathan Byers Ted Wheeler. Murry. And sadly I think Will has to die to undo any connection to the Flayer. These are just my guesses. Would love to read other predictions.
My death prediction is Will's mom. I'm pretty sure they won't do Hop, 11, Mike, Dusty or Max. It's possible Lucas bites it but I'm thinking Will's mom will be the primary death.
What's ironic is that this guy had a baby when he was 20 with a Japanese woman who was 16 years older than him.
