Just wanted to post this photo in this thread of DB sitting between Ime and Stone during the first Rockets summer league game. Obviously there are no hard feelings. Question: Was DB also at the Suns SL game last night played in the other arena?
I actually don't get the impression there are really hard feelings from any party, unless the sketchy looking rumour about Ime and Jalen's girl are true. (I feel like Ime can do better tbh, dude had NIA LONG ffs.)
If you get traded, it's pretty much like moving to a different department in the same company. You'll still get paid millions to play basketball, many players have homes in different cities than they play in. And you may end up back with that team in the future in your later years, so it doesn't hurt to have a good relationship if you enjoyed your tenure there and people you worked with. Just look at Capela. I'd perhaps take Dillon back down the road depending on his play and our team needs.
it seems like we had to give up Brooks or Reed in the deal so I guess it had to be Brooks. I would’ve liked to keep him, of course, but I am excited for those and that role to go to Tari. And I do think that DFS should offset a good bit of the loss.
Hated him when he was in Memphis, changed my mind, now very neutral to his antics and technicals. I also try to see the good side of Jalen....in the past not so much. I am a grown man, I cannot love players, I am only supportive or not.
I loved his defensive play, minus the antics and technicals. I hated the antics and technicals as a Rocket.
I was a fan of him even in memphis. Probably the only player ive liked on this team in a while. I really feel indifferent at best about everyone on this current roster
Funny, i'm the exact opposite. He made it brutal to watch the rockets, and now it's such a joy. Very very grateful he's gone.
