    Houston, TX
Houston is the second-most sinful place this year, featuring the third-highest number of adult entertainment establishments per capita and some of the highest Google search interest for terms relating to p*rnography, strip clubs and affairs.

On top of that, Houston’s residents struggle with anger and hatred. The city has the 21st-highest violent crime rate in the country and the 28th-highest number of aggravated assault offenses per capita. It also had the fifth-highest number of mass shootings between January 2023 and June 2025.

Finally, many Houstonians have trouble with vices. For example, the city has the 29th-most drunk driving fatalities per capita, the eighth-highest share of residents with gambling problems, and some of the highest Google search interest for plastic surgery.

How do they confirm gambling problems? I bet you $100 that we have very few gamblers here.

Right there... I don't want to see what you did.

On the rankings, how far has San Francisco fallen? Not even on the list, way behind St. Louis and Tampa, for crying out loud.

Active duty and retired military accounting for ~250k people there? Catholics? **** the Spurs?

There's a chart in the link.

Something I noticed- LV is getting a curve because they're counting 'North Las Vegas', which is part of their metropolitan area, as separate. Going to contend that H-Town should be #1.

We're angry because when we search for P0rnHub it's blocked...so I've been told.

One of the most vivid memories of SF I have was the giant 1950's neon stripper sign like 50 feet tall in front of The Condor Club. The Tenderloin must have been wild in the 60' and 70's.

    Tech Bros ruin everything.

Did Houston and Dallas get demerits or bonus points for the number of megachurch attendees?

It's very odd. That stretch of North Beach with the Condor was a little sin city, and the Tenderloin had its own string of adult entertainment.
It's almost all gone. For all the neg press SF gets, it's basically a set of little hamlets now. Young professionals having dinner out at 6 p.m. but then going home to answer more work messages. More strollers and teslas now, fewer adventurers and creeps. (Definitely fewer musicians and artists as well.)

Why do you think Harden loves coming back?
