Reed as a starter is cancer. He is 4th and even 5th on the totem pole despite being the second most efficient player who can create their shot. Jabari Smith and Amen shooting more than Reed is malpractice.
Ime is an idiot. Had a good thing going with Reed as 6th man and neutralizes him putting him in the lineup.
Reed had one good game on D, and back to being a turnstile. All of the Reed fans love to talk about how great an athlete he is, but I just can’t buy that when you have such terrible lateral quickness. It’s pathetic tonight and if you can’t see him being blown by constantly you are officially an only fan. No I don’t think he should be benched or traded. They need him badly because they need shooting in the worst way.

it has been particularly bad tonight, maybe its first game of a back to back but unless its an issue night in and out I'm going to see it as that. He has otherwise done a solid ass job

And I agree he is important because the rockets desperately need his shooting.
Bad defense by Reed, not disagreeing. But it has nothing to do with poor lateral agility. That just isn’t accurate or remotely true. It’s bad habits rearing their head

Read the beginning of this thread, I was the harshest on Sheppard and said that he was a bust. I just don't wait frothing at the mouth for someone to have a bad game after 12 good ones and crap on them. Maybe direct some of that energy to KD who has been going 1 on 1 and bricking of dribbling off his foot every play As someone said....the stats overwhelmingly refute your claim.
It is my eyes yes. Seeing him get blown by. I do assume his D stats look decent with his steals and deflections. But just think of how good he could be if he could stay in front of his guy. Los Pollos is right though that it’s the entire team and an especially dog sh$t game from KD that is also to blame. (ugh as I say that again Reed gets blown by Markkanen by ball watching). As someone who coaches too it’s just frustrating when you see a player do the same thing over and over again with their fundamentals and not correct it. And I’m sure Ime lets him have it more than all of us combined.
t They are getting layups even with Reed on the bench When you're playing zone and there is no communication and slow reads that's going to happen. Honestly I blame Reed more for his offensive timidness and p***y play than the defense. Everybody is slow tonight and the times he got blown by that was a team mistake
