Okay? So what about when KD isn't out there? Why are Sengun and Amen still playing to their weaknesses?
I haven’t been able to watch the game. I noticed Amen is not scoring, but has 6 assists. Getting a ton of hate, just wondering if he has been bad at everything or just missing shots. Reed’s boxscore is not that impressive either. I usually rely on eye test so box score watching is not my thing. Looks like Durant is dominating. How is Sengun doing?
Like you said - watch the game and use your eye test. Eye test is Reed has been much better than Amen. Sengun in the post - perfection. Sengun forced to play on the perimeter. Subpar.
Amen has looked bad...really bad. Run into the paint and throw up some random garbage. I'm surprised they only have him down for 5 shots because it sure feels like a lot more.
The boxscore is basically painting an entirely different picture. Reed has been really good, and ironically the best defensive player. His low points is not getting any touches other than the fastbreak on his own steals etc Amen is concussed or something he randomly missing open layups and dropping the rock for no reason
I’m not capping but so far Reed is 2nd best player out on the floor. Sengun is getting the points because they’re weren’t doubling him but other than scoring Reed has been excellent and KD looks much better refreshed from the rest he got

Reed needs these minutes with the A team. He's gonna have to learn to be more assertive even when the all stars are on the floor.
his only offensive arsenal is drive to the basket euro step. i think half of the nba teams have figured that's all he has. it's even uglier when he misses his attempts that's within 5-10 feet from the basket.
