Did we ever get an answer as to who this is talking about?

Build around Reed instead of who?

The answer depends on that clarification.

You can build around Reed alongside Sengun and Amen, you should build around Reed INSTEAD of FVV, Holiday, KD, Tate, Jeff Green, or JD Davison

Somebody should do a religious studies project about the rise of Sheppardism over the past month.

Personally, I’m thinking of dismantling my Marquese Chriss shrine and rededicating it to Saint Reed.

Reeds impact is why we won the bucks game, was in the magic game, and were in the nuggets game till the end despite stinkers from both starters

Its not about "building around him". Amen, Reed and Sengun are all unique talents (and Jabari) that are learning when their card is being called. Sheppard is a weapon like any other. But he is a weapon akin to a Klay or Steph and when you have that you incorporate it into your team.

When the teams going downhill, its Amen. When its time to set up, its Reed and Sengun. When he has a mouse in the house or we need a bailout 3, Jabari.

But no one is talking about Jabari's improved handle this year. Being able to punish closeouts for him and the team is huge. We are in such a good spot now and for the future.

I've mentioned it a ton in game threads...

Whoever he worked with or whatever he did to get to this level he needs to keep doing it. His handle has DRASTICALLY improved

You don't put all your chips into a player who hasn't brought any playoff success in his career. Let's ask the same question a couple of years later and we will have a clearer picture.

Reed would make an excellent messiah for the NBA. Good kid that extols excelling at the fundamental vs all this AAU crap, good family, good values, attends church regularly and espouses the values he learns there

He is a good and godly man, we should all imitate him in his likeness

I too remember the revelation in the book of Sheppard

    Sheppard 7:91:
And Sheppard dribbled through the valley of defenders, yet he feared no double-team. His handle comforted him, and his crossover brought great shame upon all who stood before him.”

Build around winning. It's a "team" sport.

I've been on the 4 young gun bandwagon for a while. KD was the perfect fit to add. If Tari can stay healthy, we have a really strong 7 with Josh, Clint, Holiday, Tate, and JD to supplement. DFS hasn't touched the court yet, but if he bounces back that's a strong 8.

I think we've been building the team around are Magnificent 4 young guns. They all fit well, especially if Amen continues to improve his shooting. Our future is bright, especially with draft pick capital and FVV next year or as trade capital later this year.
