Well apparently it wasn’t Jalen’s problem. It was the spacing and Ime and Sengun and getting double teamed and a banged knee etc.
Reed should've been getting much more playing time to develop. Such a talent. Just absolutely mind-boggling. He'll probably end up leaving and we'll still have Holiday jacking up shots and Sengun and the rest of our brick throwers trying to break the glass of the backboard shooting ill-advised shots. Houston Rockets just seem to have a history of making bad decisions. This goes back decades. I think it's the humidity or maybe the traffic.
Nah, i disagree. Hes better as he should be but his main issue last season was lack of freedom to play through mistakes.
Bingo, he was fully capable of this last year. Ime gave him almost zero leash last year and yanked him at any sign of making a mistake. It killed his confidence. If he would have properly been allowed to go through growing pains last year playing through mistakes we could of used him in the playoffs last year. This is Ime's biggest blunder as a coach so far and it cost us a playoffs series against this same team last year. I have said it many times, Reed will be our starting PG for the next decade plus and will be part of our home grown big 3 with Alpi and Amen.
This keeps up we really should be looking to get off FVV's contract. If KD comes back and Reed is starting then I do not think he will ever go back to the bench.
yup. The few they ran with Sengun that got him a couple of open midrange shots were nice. We need more of that as he’s money from there
Not exactly pull-up, more like this nice stop-and-pop, when he fakes a hard closeout, moves inside, then stops and pops, using his butt to ward off against the trailer from behind. Very Stockton, CP3 - like. He's still young, his butt will only get bigger from here. So this will be a bread and butter for years to come.
