Yes. You are in the d&d all day every day arguing with people. You rage all day. Ad hominem trash all day. Stupid ****ing opinions all day too.

Most of my posts are “nice pitch” or “shitty at bat”. Things like that.

I post quality music sometimes too. Which is desperately needed here.

You and I both know, you aren’t capable. Throwing out addresses that you would never be at doesn’t make you a man.

oh yeah… plus there’s the matter of you actually being a female

The remedy is a prioritization of being a good person, parent and spouse over money or status. Many of these kids were raised by daycare and social media. We as a country and especially upper middle class white male kids are raised entitled and disconnected from the larger society. There is ZERO sense of society or larger gatherings.

blah blah blah only a female talks **** on the internet then backs out in real life. The only female here is your inbred ass who talks smack online only to run away in real life.

If you're about having a friendly competition at the gym feel free to hit me up. We can play bball at 24hours or whatever youre half decent at. Id embarrass you in any sport/competition.

Looks like there was a 4-page slap fight in here that I'm going to skip over. Because I want to talk about Boy Scouts of America:

U.S. ready to cut support to Scouts, accusing them of attacking 'boy-friendly spaces'

    Thoughts:

    * As a liberal, I'm loving that Hegseth would withdraw support from Scouts. I bear the Scouts no ill-will, I like them fine. But, I don't like that Scouts has a formal relationship with the US Army. That's been true informally since its founding, but the government started supporting the Jamboree in the 1930s when Hitler Youth was coming on in Germany and the US was building a school-to-army pipeline to compete. More recently, it's been losing relevance and accepted girls to avoid being forgotten altogether. So, now Hegseth gives the ultimatum -- get back on the path to irrelevance or cut the school-to-army pipeline. I prefer the latter, but I win either way.

    * Lol at the criticism of Scout meritocracy. There are standards for getting your badges and ranks and leadership, but there has long been an emphasis on 'do your best' from cub scouts and into scouts. The most committed and active might get the most success, but no one was ever excluded from Scouts altogether for lack of merit. In any case, letting in girls and gays and blacks doesn't impact meritocracy. The standards for the badges remain regardless of who is competing.

    * There is a law that undergirds the military's support for the Jamboree. So, for Hegseth to withdraw support, Hegseth will have to declare that providing support harms national security. Is that what you want to tell your most promising target market for military recruiting?

    * Hegseth was never a Boy Scout.

    * I'll give Scouts this praise. If anything is an antidote for the ills of social media and the problems it causes for social development of young people, it's Scouts. Teaches self-discipline, goal-seeking, gets you outdoors, makes you socialize and work with your peers in person. Having girl troops to interact with the boy troops makes these benefits greater for the boys, not worse. Hegseth is a huge dumbass for messing with them.

What a bonehead. Scouts overwhelmingly attracts conservative parents and pumps out conservative voters.

Just dropping in to say anecdotes don't tell the whole story. The kids are alright. As a whole, today's youth are better educated, drink less, smoke less, do less drugs, commit crimes at a lower rate (or near lower rate--for some reason, drug use among teen girls has risen slightly in the past few years), and have fewer births than at any time since these things were started to be tracked.

Incidentally, the years that had the most alcohol, tobacco, and drug use among teens were right in the middle of my teenage life, late 70s-early 80s--and that may explain a lot about late boomer leadership in government and business, not to mention susceptibility to mis- and disinformation. Needs more study though.
