Took my kids to see Cannibal Corpse and Municipal Waste at the House of Blues on Friday. #FatherOfTheYear
Saw Nation of Language at The Studio At The Bomb Factory last night in Deep Ellum. Great show - about 3X the audience they had 2yrs ago.
I know EDM isn't this forum's go-to but I enjoy the upbeat tempo. Wasn't going to go to this festival in Austin, but then I got VIP tickets comped. I have **** to do this weekend but it's a hard one to pass up with some great acts in the lineup.
Going to this. The tickets are industry all access, so it’s a good excuse to party with free booze and network at the same time.
just a heads up tickets have been released to the general public the day of each show. I guess they’re holding a few extras. We were able to find them for bologna.
Buddy came to visit for a few days b/t his visiting parents and Houston and back to New Mexico. As a something to do, we went to the local "FunPlex" (bowling alley, bar, arcade, etc...) We walked outside to take a puff at some point, and found ourselves looking at the outdoor (covered) 500 seat amphitheater, and they had posters advertising a Paul Wall concert. At a bowling alley in Marble Falls, Tx. Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Saw Radiohead in London on Saturday night. Fantastic show. Great energy, pretty solid set list. Worth 21 hours back and forth Friday night and Sunday morning.
Yeah we ended up going to three out of the four nights in bologna. we didn’t know how the ticket dynamic would end up so we had found an American threw a friend that ended up winning the ticket lottery and was able to buy four seats. We paid him pretty handsomely on top to give us two of them. in the end, it seems like Radiohead accomplished what they wanted because it was very difficult for bots to resell and make a bunch of money. Once we got to Bologna, we were able to find tickets for the other two nights at face value. Wasn’t a huge deal for us over paying the one night because to see them three nights ended up being reasonable overall. Italy is very cheap right now as well for food and drink, and I would definitely recommend it as a tourist destination. Each of the three concert nights were amazing.
