Risk a comeback from that crew with 4 minutes left and a huge lead lol. Reed needs to be in there playing point in these blowouts. He needs experience in getting his shot back in game.
In this situation he was sitting before the game was out of hand. Even when up big he should be in there running the point getting more experience.
You are worried about a few garbage time minutes when it is likely he's gonna move into the starting line up full time? Give me a break. He's getting plenty of experience.
Reed was cold and Holiday was hot. Sheppard was also playing poor defense other than steals. He does not have to play every available minute to progress. In fact, when he is struggling it is better to take him out than ruin his confidence. Reed only fans are getting obnoxious. You can be pro-Reed and still be objective when he has a bad game. He is for all intensive purposes a rookie.
That is Reed’s offensive weakness. He can still be man-handled and taken out of his game. With Ime coaching, he won’t get any help with screens. He has the ability to get to that middi, but he is still learning how to handle the stronger NBA players.
Sengun's gravity Carries this team, not Amen 1 in a million shoot the light outs game nights.. We have NBA's second best center and you want to trade him in what cave do you live bro? This team is Sengun's team...Not Amen or others.. All players in this team benefit and scores from Sengun's double or some times tripple doubled situations and he makes right plays.. Sick of this Sengun haters..imbeciles...
Dont make jokes.. Do you see Nuggets fans making jokes about Jokic or Bucks fans making jokes about Giannis. Sengun is this teams Jokic, Giannis or Doncic tier level player. He is this teams Swiss Army..borderline only superstar..
Amen just had an amazing game, that’s not up for debate. But one game doesn't prove or disprove anything on its own. He needs to do the same thing against a true contender, not just a Suns team on a b2b.
Do what? The dude is averaging career highs in points and assists on an 11-4 team. He dropped 28 points last night, 22 against Denver, 18 against OKC, the latter two while deferring to Durant. Exactly what are people expecting of Amen?
Most of the Amen critics are Reed only or Sengun only fans or SamFisher that hates all young players. There is a pretty cool world out there where all 3 could be celebrated as keys to a championship. Amen is on his way to greatness, but still has little experience as a PG or an offensive hub. He is getting there, but unless he is absolutely dominant on the offensive side of the floor the naysayers will come out in droves. Defensively he is already a superstar, but drive by fans only look at one side of the ball and make declarations after a 22 year old player starts 15 games at a new position, that he is forever doomed to the same level of play where he currently is. In other words, dumbasses.
“After the game, Brooks said Udoka accused him of flopping. Brooks said he disagreed. In fact, he had thought the Rockets had flopped all night, at one point calling Houston center Alperen Şengün a “flopping a–.””
The game was great honestly, we kicked ass last night. It was tough and we hanged on. You can pick details here and there, but Reed played 27 minutes. Im fine with that, he is for all matters a rookie on the court. Amen kicked ass, Jabari played with great energy, Okogie remains a championship signing with his energy. Sengun like reed played better than his box score. And we won against a hot team. It was great to see the trade working for both teams and the players. They appreciate Brooks and he is playing well for them. What else de you want?
It would be more of a weakness if he forced up crap shots while dealing with that extra pressure. He's a willing passer and makes the right basketball play more often than not to generate higher quality shots. Whether he's hot or cold on a particular night, defenses still have to respect his elite shooting where his gravity is used to open up plays for others. In this case, Amen was feasting going downhill 1 on 1 and in transition. Reed is a winning player and there's no way around it.
Lol he loses all credibility when you look at the stats to see Sengun had 4 free throws.. man he sure was getting rewarded..
Every player can get man handled. Shoot, Steph Curry got man handled by Amen in playoffs, if they didn’t set a million picks for him he’d never get a shot off lol. Good game overall by our team. Glad to see Amen snapping back into form. This is more of what I was hoping from him after last year ended.
