reed was moving the ball well. these were passes I didnt know he had in his game. those passes are CP3 level awareness. he keeps gambling on defense though.. it's crazy.. just stay in front. he might have ADHD the way he plays defense.

It's so frustrating...he just forgets how to be assertive. I'll never understand it.

Yes. His three point shot is off, and he is gambling too much again. In fairness, the Suns are not allowing him to be open much, but he is making them pay with his passing. Bari needs to up his game and look for his open teammates more when he is closely guarded. DB is killing it. The second half should be interesting, and I hope Reed regains his 3.

Reed is getting defended like Curry, without KD it’s harder to find the room to shoot but so far Holiday and JD has cover that hole

Last game Reed was going off so Ime iced him in the 2nd half. Now Holiday is hot so Ime didnt even play him in the 2nd quarter.

What is Ime's problem? He hates his players getting heaters or what?

man shut the **** up. if you dont know the nuance at what I'm talking about. shut the ****. amen is one of the best 3 players on the team. he should play like it. im not asking him to do heart surgery. im asking dude to recognize when a man is open.

i appreciate amen btw. he came in kinda stopped DB.

Despite all appearances he's a hardcore advanced statistics guy and doesn't believe in "playing the hot hand"? Yeah, I got nothin'

Amen is leading this team in wins and offense as the pg. We're winning without Durant. Amen is the MVP of this team

    1st half:

Amen must continue shooting from mid-range instead of camping on the 3-point line so often. 5/9 was good in the 1st half but he still missed a couple of contested shots at the rim. If he rectifies this, watch out.

I thought Alpi lacked aggression and must ramp it up in the 2nd half. He's not rebounding or hubbing the offense. He's playing like "one of the guys" and that is not acceptable.

Unless the situation calls for something else, Holiday should stick with what he's best at: Set shot 3-pointers.

Hopefully Reed gets his stroke going. Seems like he's legit close to a deflection or steal almost every time he's defending on the perimeter.

JD Davison did well in his 9 mins. Hopefully he can offer the same near the end of the 3rd.

Rockets must continue their emphasis on covering Booker, but must stop the communication breakdowns that allow totally uncontested 3s and layups to happen. Okogie covers Booker almost as well as Amen. His arm length is almost freakish. Booker attacked him a couple of times and regretted it. Booker won't even try to attack Amen.

Other than Red Panda, how many NBA Halftime Regulars are considered good - great?

This has to be by design too because no way a coach is that fine with so much gambling unless they are being coached that way.

I think Ime likes chaos. The Warriors were saying last season that the difficulty in playing against the Rockets defense was that it was so unpredictable because it seemed like no one knew what they were doing.

So maybe Ime just has Reed out there as a chaos steal merchant, it has created a lot of TOs this game.

Amen is the only one that can drive to the rim on this team. Sheppard is getting manhandled. Amen opens up the court with his drives. I think it is the definition of a good pg.
