This. It is on Ime to show the videos of the game, especially to himself, the coaching staff, Alpi, and KD in particular. The defensive tactics that opponents use against Alpi and KD started to show some degree of effectiveness since the game against Dallas. They immediately swarm KD as soon as he gets the ball on the top of the key. They also pack the paint as soon as Alpi starts to make a move, usually from the top of the key, where he can easily be swarmed.

The coaches may have to draw up simple plays to have their outside shooters be in positions that would let Alpi and KD know where to make outlet passes when they are swarmed. They have Bari and Reed being left open when the swarming happens, and that would create open shots that these two snipers could take advantage of. Coaches should find a way for Amen to position himself for open lanes to receive the ball to dunk or drive when the swarming is creating openings. It may be difficult to execute these things, but the swarming tactics can be shredded with proper passing and positioning. Alpi and KD must trust their teammates and make the quick outlet passes to make swarming opponents pay.

JB seems a better coach than Ime.

The Pistons are playing 12 players every game. Ime never dare to do that.

See if JB can get the Pistons out the east to the NBA Finals.

They are on track of a 65 W season, I would be interested to see them having a 60 Win season first.

I woke up today feeling this game was a win. Literally forgot this was a loss. And that's with reasonable expectations on winning. Not Houston Texans "moral victories" or "Blame it on the McNairs" easy scapegoating as cope

People can react how they want. I'm just not sure that this game is a sign of "terrible things to come", just the cliche one game on the schedule to get better from

Crazy ugly start. 12 point quarters are gonna lose you a ball game almost always. Lucky enough that it was the first and we had enough time to fight back. Hate to say it but the reffing really favored the Nuggets, they got away with a ton of fouls. KD was 7' Jalen. Alpe wasn't much better. Reed saved the first half catching fire and Jabari had a good game from range too. I love Capela but he's cooked man.

All this Nuggets glazing but they lose to following night to the Kings. For our Rockets we have to find a way to win these back to backs without putting too much on our veterans.

The thing about KD or Sengun having subpar games is that they'll always be the focal point of opposing team's schemes and best defenders. In the next game against the Suns, they probably put Dillon on KD. So when they have bad games, as fans, we hope do well, but also know that they're given the harder tests. We do the same to guys Donovan Mitchell by blitzing him at the last Cavs game. When teams do that to KD/Sengun, the others have to step up.

My thing is, if the ball is moving, it's OK for the ball to find its way back to a KD. Or if Reed is running point, the ball can still find its way back to Reed for a 3. Our counters to other team's counters needs to evolve (especially against better opponents).

Ok so just post, there's no reason to reply to mine when this has nothing to do with what I said.

Nobody's glazing the nuggets. I said the Rockets beat themselves. And the Rockets won 5 straight prior to this so they have found a way to win back to back games.

They Rockets have not played a back-to-back this season.

Yeah after seeing the Nuggets lose one I know we will have to face the same situation as well. We gotta find a way to win those games.

I was speaking in general but a lot of people are glazing the Nuggets. To the point where some fools are saying Jokic is better than Hakeem lol. As far as back to backs I'm talking about playing two games in back to back days. We gotta prepare for that.

Two different things, obviously the Nuggets played better against the Rockets than against the Kings.
