LOL. Good lord. Correct me if I'm wrong but you have not been posting in this thread long right? We are going to finish this year with at least 8 wins. The last time we had won at least 8 games 4 years in a row was 16 years ago. I'm guessing the only reason you are even posting here is because the program is now relevant again. Ok I took the 45 seconds to do a search. You have not posted in this thread between 2013 and 2023. Maybe you just don't know what happened at UT football in that stretch but you should maybe ask chat gpt and then come back and see if finishing in 3rd 2 years a row really doesn't meet UT standards. So if he wins a year from now then Texas won't be elite?
Whoah big guy. What does my posting history count have any thing to do with the topic at hand? I’m a UT fan and graduate. Don’t tell me I don’t know my longhorn football. Thanks for the comment
Because it shows you are the definition of a bandwagon fan. That's the point. Sure, this seems unacceptable to you but you weren't exactly engaged when the team was in the cellar for a decade.
Didn’t know I had to be engaged on the internet all during the losing years to prove I was a true fan. Brilliant
Does the defense wanna get a stop at some point today or do they just enjoy maximizing their field time?
They have been, especially since Petrino took over. You have to give me a little leeway in my sh!ttalking
That targeting was weak. What's the point of reviewing that incomplete pass? It was so obviously incomplete.
Have yourself a day, Arch: 4 passing TD, 1 rushing, 1 receiving. Let him return the next punt, if there is one
Arch has been a disappointment based on the absurd hype around him, not really any way to argue around that. However when you look past that, and grade him on the level of a normal player he has shown a ton of progress as the season has gone on. I'm assuming he'll be back after the disappointing season, and he could still live up to the Heisman hype yet. If he would have been remotely at this level to start the season, no question we beat Ohio St. and Florida.
If they let him play CB and he gets a pick 6, I'm back on the Heisman train. For now, Arch has shown good growth, but still far from Heisman worthy. He misses some open receivers against stronger competition, and occasionally is lazy that affects his mechanics. Let's hope he can put it all together for next season.
Honestly, after the hype this season, I have a hard time believing he'll be the #1 QB in next year's draft at his current progression unless he takes a huge jump.
