This right here. Stop pump faking and start letting them 3s fly. Pump fake only works if they think you're going to shoot it.

No way to sugar coat it, Sengun was by far the biggest reason the Rockets lost last night...he was flat out terrible.

That said, some of that blame for Sengun being able to hurt the team as much as he did goes on Ime for leaving him out there.

I think the matchup against Jokic had him trying to do too much and resulted in him doing too little of what he should have been doing. He ignored the hot hand, had no interest in setting other guys up and just wanted to go one on 5 every time down the court.

The Rockets net rating when Sengun was on the court was -24.9....he completely destroyed the Rockets on both ends of the court every time he was allowed on the court.

This needs to be a learning experience for him, he prioritized his own ego over the best interests of the team...over the win, and that can't happen. He's too good of a player to end up -16 in a 3 point loss.

it’s not just twitter, one of the Turkish fans told me the people that are mad at him are radical religious Turks. He said they are in power now they have control over 90% of the media out there. They even censor alcohol and cigarettes on tv. So seeing Alpi saying that’s their national drink riled them up. I don’t fully understand it but it’s supposed to be a big deal and Turkish fans are split on the issue

He won't care about that, his region is more alcohol-friendly. He's super used to some Turkish people criticizing his lifestyle, it's a very racially and culturally diverse country.

Really, please point that out. Do they censor alcohol and cigarettes? Is Islam in charge in Turkey?

Which part is exaggerated? Isn't Erdogan pretty much a dictator?

Didn't Enis Kanter get in trouble there for preaching freedom?

Isn't Kanter a follower of some extremist cult leader?

lol, no! It is not the place to discuss this but the last thing the cult he is a follower and a tool of, promotes is freedom. It is quite the opposite actually. It is a marketing campaign for foreigners, everybody in Turkey will laugh at this regardless of political opinion.

Erdogan and this cult are the two faces of the same Islamist coin, while Erdogan needs public support and is bound much more by the system compared to Kanter’s cult, and hence is way less harmful than these guys. For example, currently he is forced to peace negotiations with the Kurds by the smaller partner party in government, which is certainIy not something he wants. Or lost mayor elections in all major cities recently. He doesn’t have absolute power for sure, for example like Putin.

I know it is hard to believe but these guys are much worse than Erdogan in anything related with democracy, freedom etc. and Kanter is just an idiot promoting them. And this is coming from an atheist who left his home country practically because of Erdogan and is completely at the other end of the political spectrum.

Turkey is ruled by secular rules which means no religion is in charge.

No doubt. Alpi played a very selfish game -- trying to outplay the MVP, and in the course of doing so, sabotaging his own team. Alpi has been great this year, so he has earned the right to have a stinker now and then. Just play a team game, man.

Giddey is coming for that .....21-10-10....very interesting indeed, that Wizard of the East and Wizard of the West.

Amen with 17-6-5 not too shabby.

And Alpi did a weak approach of trying to "outplay Joker". He could have done even more attacking Jokic directly if it's taking on that challenge.

But it's like he slipped into "versatile game" mode. Finessing when it should be attacking (flamingo middies inside of post ups & drives) and attacking/playmaking when it should be finessing (not taking the 3, trying to force something else)

Haha no, he's the follower of an agent of a foreign country who's constantly trying to make chaos. Not really culty or a religious fanatic, but very willing to kill fellow citizens in order to become the next dictator disguised as a populist. Apparently once upon a time he was seen as having noble causes - namely more freedom - but something happened to him, he got bitter and dark.

Kanter just found a great way to make easy money and sold out. Both of them are traitors of course.

Alpi is at his best when he makes his insane passes within the flow of the game, like the behind the back to Adams. He gets in trouble when he starts hunting for the fancy plays. Then it becomes…come on teammate, why the hell weren’t you ready for what my brain was planning.
