This is where losing Jalen and Dillon really hurts, those two are both unselfish and give you more than what Sengun and old Durant have tonight. More offense, more defense, more passion for the game... Sengun is really close to having soft attached to his name... He is getting dunked on, embarrassed on a nightly basis...

Bari was the one feeding Reed in 1st half … Bari heated up 2nd half and he has to take those shots so his man closes and he’s able to get Reed the open corner look

Bad memories for me of last year where Jabari would be like 3/5 from three and FVV and JG would just jack up bricks to the tune of 5/20 for the night.

Ime is very passive when his offensive stars are bricking it up and not going to their outlet guys.

You’re embarrassing yourself on a nightly basis with how bad these takes are…

Jesus Christ! These guys have already played 14 reg season games together - why arent they executing everything perfectly on a nightly basis like clockwork?!? I mean, sure they have the #1 offense, they're dominating the boards and their d is giving other teams fits - but c'mon already!

    lol!

One thing I was telling my sons last night as the game went on…Reed was hot and Reed was open. Keep feeding him. I saw KD take the jumper at the top of the key several times with someone in his face. The extra pass to the hot hand was what I was hoping to see.

Denver adjusted in the second half and Reed got a lot less open looks. Hoping the staff starts running Reed off of some double screens ala Curry when he’s going like that.

I thought Sengun by and large lacked energy last night and had a tough game overall. All that said, it’s going to happen. I am not going to put too much into it.

The trolling skill has largely declined, Salvy looking like KD did last night for the last couple years or so.

That's the primary game plan, the one the Nuggets defended against successfully. The stars had to step up, and they didn't. As for Reed, the Nuggets adjusted in the 2nd half by running a player at him and not leaving him open. That's why Bari got the open shots and knocked them down.

The Rockets didn't counter. They didn't give Reed the ball or set screens for him. They didn't let him play the PG role with the starters. Instead, they stuck to their game plan that wasn't working in the 1st half. Having Reed in there to space the floor was more successful, but it still wasn't enough, largely because the MVP of the league played like an MVP.

Sengun played selfish all game. Seemed too focused on trying to outplay and win his matchup against Jokic than win the game.

it warrants a private convo with coach...I've seen it a couple games already.

He's young and can adapt/address concerns easily. May be that he's not even aware and thinks he has to with FVV being out and Jalen being traded

that's all good, but why isnt sengun or KD the one finding reed? bari seems to always be the first pass no matter the corner.

I think both of them just gotta get used to Reed's game.

Durant has been his main cheerleader, so its nothing personal. I think he's just a killer. For him, that mid range is WIDE open, it's hard for him to turn that down when he drills that most of the time, so he might see a guy open and legit think "This an easy bucket." and most times, it is.

Sengun has that same mentality. He says "I'm never scared" and I believe that, so when he feels his team needs a bucket he's confident he can get it. So far most of the time he's been right. So I can't blame the both of them for thinking it was on them to win that game.

It's gonna take them some time to get used to Reed's shooting and trusting him a bit more is all.

Yeah it was selfish play but that's how all top scorers play. That's why Durant is the main one it seems telling Reed to be more selfish, it's just the mentality you have to have if you're going to be a 20+ppg guy in this league.

Not really sure what people are seeing in Sengun playing supreme selfish. Sengun took 3 LESS shots, 5 less free throws than his season averages. Had less rebounds & assists than avg.

The passive, content-as-7th option, unaggressive b***h Jabari took 6 more shots than Sengun. 3 other players took more shots than Sengun. Reed only 1 less shot. Even 2 free throws a month Reed went to the line more than Sengun

If this counts as "imposing selfish will", then we got a Playoffs Harden Headcase issue incoming, of supposed-to-be-imposing but really shrinking. I think it's more one of those Alpi out of sync games we've seen before. Where maybe he's approaching too versatile skilled, but mastering none, and just flat in everything
