I think the Rockets need to make a decision on Sheppard. They have built a team to win now but Sheppard is not in win now mode. He may be a very good player a couple years from now and has a bright future but at this point he isn’t. He makes 10 mil a year. Do you package him in a deal maybe with Thompson or Tari to acquire a star vet pg or other deals involving a starting level pg? I don’t know who is available I just believe they need to make a decision because they can’t beat the top tier teams with this current roster. Too many mistakes. Too sloppy. You either waste a year with Durant still being able to play at a high level or you try to win now at a high cost. They already traded a young player away and great 3-D guy for a 37 yr old. They can certainly trade Sheppard to win now.
