Thank God we didn't trade Reed off prematurely like so many wanted to. His confidence and improvement is happening so fast that it's amazing to watch. This is the guy I wanted so desperately, and watching him shoot so beautifully is a joy to watch. He's only going to get better, and we've got ourselves a shooting and stealing sharpshooter folks.
Stone said multiple times he was untouchable and said he had the most offensive potential on the team
Scary to think that if FVV didn’t get injured Reed would still be getting 5-10 minutes off the bench and getting pulled after 1 mistake.
I’m beginning to think Stone was playing 4D chess didn’t acquire another PG because he was forcing Ime to play Reed
I was told he just pads his stats against bad teams and is a worse shooter then castle. What happened to that?
Not only in this game vs the Nuggets, but there have been many instances this season of Reed passing up shots when there were slivers of daylight. When he learns to be decisive and assertive, look out.
I've been on the keep him on the bench side. However I'm rapidly starting to feel otherwise. Lineups with him KD and Sengun don't look fluid to its full potential and that needs to be rectified. Maybe not next game, but pretty soon, that's our endgame unit for the season. The next step is Reed being aggressive even when our best players are on the floor.
