That was one of the most selfish games I’ve ever seen.

and he took that 3 when Reed was open at the end…

if Ime can’t get through to him he has no business coaching this team.

We gave this game away opportunity after opportunity.

sheppard had 2 touches the 3rd quarter after giving us 20 on 80% shooting and then we just tire him out

The two-man game is something KD and Alpi need to master. The sooner, the better.

Unfortunately, against the Nuggets, neither guy played worth a dime.

They both stunk tonight....pretty much not good....Amen 20 points, Jabari 20 points, Reed 20 points.....

We just needed an average game from either of them and they both stunk it up.

It’s fine until they literally don’t pass to anyone else

If you have Reed Sheppard open the entire quarter and you keep bricking it’s malicious and god awful coaching

It was a very winnable game, but the game thread is overreacting.

Sheppard was hot but we couldn’t get him going, I’ll put that under Sheppard’s youth and not going for the ball more. He started the 2nd half, the team isn’t dumb and realizes he’s hot. It just didn’t happen.

Sengun and KD played like ass, they’ve been playing great all season, games where they whiff happen, we only lost by 3 to a top contender.

Only watched the 2nd half, so Smith jr looked great I know he started off slow, but I doubt that will continue throughout the season.

    yada yada yada

Great game, we lost by 2.
    This team looks GOOD.
Reed Sheppard?? If we even get half of how he played tonight the possibilities are endless.
Tari Eason needs to stay healthy, load mange him.

Imagine a coach that drew up plays to get his lights out shooter looks.

I'd drop to the floor with wet pants picturing Reed in a Warriors offense with that ball movement.

You know, an offense which plays to their players strengths.

this is the game where u would say yeah, KD is really old, getting blocked, cant get over double teams, missing wide open shots, cant find the open man Reedsanity, this game reminds of the first game where KD just got shut down by Dort in OKC, if he shows up like this in the playoffs, we can say goodbye to this year

This was the game I knew Reed would have that we have all been waiting for...it is his purpose. He went off and look at his drives. I'll effing say it. He is like Curry without the success and level of confidence. When he is out there like that he should have dropped 40-45. Let him go hellfire on them. Its a lesson for the team. I think Ime will wait until January but give Reed the keys and let Amen be Amen.

This game was IDENTICAL to the GLeague from last season when Reed dropped 50. He knows he can do it now.

I actually agree, poor outings from both stars tonight. But it also gives optimism because they still found a way to be competitive, just couldn’t bring it home. But Ime needs to run more off ball actions for Durant. The guy needs some easy looks to get going. Sengun will be fine, he played against the toughest cover in the NBA (Jokic) and got worked. But he’ll be back.

The way Eason and Sheppard are hitting the 3's this year they could be the Rockets version of the Splash Brothers, that's for sure. They are #1 and #3 in the league. We don't have that type combo with our starting lineup. In fact, we have never had a combo with 50.9 and 48.8% lighting up the floor from behind the arc.

Great point, Deb. I hadn’t looked at advanced stats yet this year. Lo and behold, Adams is absolutely killing it on offensive rebounding. I wonder if Ime is even aware of these stats?

Somebody in the game the game thread said we should have Kerr here to optimize Reed and that wasn’t wrong; Ime likes dog players that bang it out which naturally discounts pure shooting. Which you have to have in the NBA.

Some nights it's your night, and some nights it's not your night, and all that.

Overall though I thought it was a good game against one of the top teams in the league. My only real complaint was running double bigs out there the entire first quarter, especially when Ime brought in Capela.
