Back to being a bit timid tonight.

When he plays Kyle Korver etc style dude plays great. Reed needs to let it fly. We don't care if he misses

I mean he didnt really pass up many shots. He just got blocked a couple times. His last play was him taking it to the hoop over a defender on the break. They were pressuring tf out of him and every other ball handler in the 3rd though

He was great in first half. You can see how bad plays affect him. He made one bad play in second half and everything changed. He started hesitating again and leaving everything short by over thinking. Someone tell Reed he doesn’t have to be perfect.

You're right, the defense on him was pretty legit.

In the past I noticed when he would bring the ball up and saw him main job as just kicking it to KD and sagged in the back...he struggled. I liked the drive and think if they kept him in longer he would have played really well, but some of the earlier plays when KD or senguin were iso-ing he didn't really cut or move.

I don't think its a big deal, dude still had 12 points in 20 minutes on efficient ass shooting. I would like for him to play aggressive

Yup this is what I'm getting at. Jeff Green was over on the sidelines patting him on the back. His teammates really like him, he's a really good dude but also at times Iis bit hard on himself. Fortunately he has been playing well and will learn. He needs to not give a **** when playing

second half he was a bit. I'm being nitpicky, very different style in the first and second half he was being too cautious later. Its not a big deal, I hope they address it in film and point our/support Reed. He can put up 20ppg easy with how he is playing

It was the defense mostly.... 4 fouls in 23 minutes. Targeted again and he didn't handle it as well this game in the 2nd half.

Some of those were actually good fouls - one on mobley in the post and one preventing a dunk. And another did not look like a foul to me.

He was forcing it a lil bit today. Even some of the earlier 3s were a little forced imo. Not his cleanest game but 12 pts on 45% shooting and a +7 is alright by me. That little CP3 move he did where he had has defender held off by his rear had me saying stuff.

The fact that Reed has seemingly found a "floor" to his performance that's good enough for big rotation minutes this early in the season is huge.

You can see bits and pieces of his all around offensive potential, but shooting is the only consistent tool he has right now. All these minutes will be great for developing the rest of his game.

Isn't that one of the reason we still have him on the team? He hardly plays, but he's a vet and knows what he should be to the younger players. He's a good guy to have around on the bench, and ready to play when he's needed.
