I don’t b*tch about Reed. I praise his strengths and recognize his weaknesses. He is just your new hero and you can’t bare anyone that’s not slobbering all over him. I hope he becomes a perennial all-star, just think his defense is a long ways from even average. I also want to see him against some of the tougher perimeter defenders in the league to see if can handle being the primary ball handler without damaging our offensive dominance so far this season. I don’t know, but I guess that’s b*tching in your mind. By the way, your continuing to call NBA players p*ssies and cowards is really annoying.
Reed led the SEC in steals and is 5th in steal pct this year. Definitely helps his case. Okogie is 3rd in steal pct, btw
Den will be a test to see where we’re at. I’m still concerned with our turnovers and lack of cohesion sometimes on offense especially with Amen and Sheppard making wrong decisions which puts pressure on Durant as a playmaker who forces a lot of bad passes. They can’t play this way against the top teams in the league who will thrive off those TO’s the way Detroit or Spurs did.
Defense is always relevant. He is a great shooter and we need that. He played only 22 mins tonight, because his defense was bad once again as was Holidays. Holiday played the Reed role tonight, because Cleveland adjusted their defense to harass Reed further out on the floor and it clearly upset his ability to make plays. Two things this team needs to figure out by the all-star break. Is Amen going to miss layups all year and will Reed learn enough defense to stay on the court 25-30 mins. Reed should be getting 8-10 mins of Tari’s minutes in my opinion, but none of those minutes should come when both Amen and Okogie are off the floor. Tari getting hurt has put Ime in the position of having to manage the rotations very well. I don’t like the double bigs that much, but without Tari and DFS, we have very poor depth at the wing. I prefer the double bigs over the double midget lineup. I don’t understand why Reed and Holiday are subjugating Okogie to the bench. Ime gonna Ime.
