I’d say me falling asleep nearly cost the team the game

last thing I remember before passing out, the score was 63-45…now I see it was a 4 point game by the end of the 3rd

 

Nah, she takes more crap because she sees a star player and gets on her knees and does her darndest to gag on them from the broadcast booth.

If you're unable to see the difference in how Doris comments on LeBron vs non-stars, that's on you.

For 99% of the people, there's nothing sexist in their despise of Doris. She's just pathetic at her job.

I get where you're coming from. The Silas-KPJ-Jalen era was tough and as Jalen's #1 fan even I could see that some of his other #1 fans were a bunch of absolute lunatics. But he's gone now (I do miss him tho because of course I do) and the nightmare is over. The Rockets are back! Hopefully this season will be the ultimate chill-inducer

 

Sengun schooled Evan Mobley all night long!

He is way better than him. I'm hyped up about the Jokic matchup.

Is Sengun developing as the successor to the Dream? I'm not saying he will ever be as good as Hakeem, but I'm very happy that he is a Houston Rocket.

 

They all do this. Every one of these national sportscasters, and a lot of the local ones too. Like I said, I don't think she's great at her job, but she's not worse than usual. They're all just mouthpieces of the league, selling a product. There are a few who are genuinely really great at what they do, but they are rare.

Aaron Holiday post game for those that are into that:

 

I made a mark on a pad every time Amen broke down the defense and made a perfect pass that was then missed. 6 3 pointers were missed and 4 perfect passes in the lane 3 of which Adam’s clunked and one that Sengun missed. I can’t explain why he is missing so many layups. I’d like for him to always try to dunk it. Most of the time he will get fouled. He also absolutely shut down Mitchell in the first half. Late Mitchell got hot, but not on Amen. We needed Holidays shooting this game to stop the bleeding, but his defense is bad. Amen will get it straightened out in time.
