Aaron erupted like a volcano on the Cavs.

 

It was all of 2 mins it wasnt the reason for the collapse.

He’s the best player from his draft. Period.

 

You simply cannot play Alpi 1-on-1 anymore. Maybe a couple of guys out there like Bam Adebayo, Draymond (by getting away with all kinds of dirty BS). Other than that you have to double him and then he's just going to make the right pass 9 times out of 10.

lwk think ime is sabotaging Amen. dude would probably be an alstar in the dunker's spot all game. If we need Amen to bring up the ball cool, but get into the action faster and get him off ball quicker. Amen will dribble every second off the clock because KD is cool watching Amen dribble the ball forever.

 

Cade is the only one who is in the same conversation with him at this point I think... the #1 overall pick.

 

Amen still had a decent night 12/9/6/4 while containing Mitchell cmon now. Mitchell got off cuz Reed and Holiday suddenly started guarding him.

 

I think one of the main things is Amen is not very happy about it either. He's being a consumate professional but he's not relishing the role. You can see it in his body language

 

Yes, he has proven that against many teams. He outclassed Evan Mobley.

Amen has stunted Amen. He can’t shoot, that limits his offensive effectiveness.

 

Just a dunker will never be an all star. Amen needs to do more than just cut and dunk if he wants to be more than a roleplayer. I think playing him at pg is still the correct decision esp since he destroys opponents on defense like what he did to Mitchell tonight.

 

Even if you are someone that only reads the box score, you would see that he had a quad 5s game tonight with only 1 turnover in 40 minutes.

 

I suspect it's more that he's not happy with his own level of play. He's said many times he wants to be a point guard. He takes this stuff seriously, he knows he's underperforming in some areas right now.

I still expect him to bounce back. He may ultimately end up on the wing though. But I'm not ready to give up on him as a lead guard after less than a quarter of a season.

 

Ime has no other choice, apart from playing Amen and Reed at the 1. Amen needs to adapt to the change.

 

Doris is OK. She's very knowledgeable and OK as a broadcaster. The reason there's such a backlash is her voice can be a little grating, she got overhyped for a bit, and ESPN breaking up an awesome top crew somewhat inexplicably by firing JVG and Jackson to elevate her magnified it quite a bit.
