Can we talk about how great a coach this guy is and how bad of a deal he got treated by the new owner in Phoenix? The man has absolutely turned around the Pistons in two years. His concepts are simple, his work ethic extraordinary, and he's just a fantastic human being. Edit: I have obviously not kept up with the Detroit coaching carousel. Bickerstaff has been the force behind the turnaround in Detroit.
The opening post in this thread is so historically bad it has to be sarcasm. I've posted a lot about Monty Williams and specifically why he's failed at being a head coach. Not gonna waste time here.
